🏃‍♂️🏅 Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of athletic achievement and community spirit! The Aiken Steeplechase Association is thrilled to host the 2026 South Carolina High School League Cross Country Finals for the second consecutive year on November 14, 2026!

This prestigious event will unite athletes, coaches, and fans from every corner of South Carolina. Over two action-packed days, 12 thrilling races will feature 114 runners each, tackling a challenging 3.1-mile course winding through the beautiful Aiken Steeplechase Racecourse grounds.

We can’t wait to welcome the entire cross-country community to our unique venue and lively town. Spectators are enthusiastically encouraged to come cheer on these incredible young athletes! Enjoy delicious offerings from local food trucks and soak up the electric atmosphere—tickets are available at the gate!

Stay tuned for more details as the event draws closer. We are honored to champion South Carolina’s rising stars and share our facilities for this special occasion.

We recently had the joy of visiting and volunteering with one of our 2025 Community Grant Recipients: Friends of the Animal Shelter - FOTAS Aiken! 🐾

FOTAS and their amazing volunteers have truly changed the lives of animals in our community. Before FOTAS began, the county’s euthanasia rate was over 91%. Now it’s dropped to just 5.2%! That’s an incredible transformation, thanks to the teamwork between FOTAS volunteers and shelter staff -giving every adoptable animal a real chance at a happy life.
