What an incredible accomplishment for Coach Chris Barrett and the former 12u Southside Prospects, now proudly competing as 14u! 💙🥎

Today, this team was recognized as the 2026 USSSA Missouri State Points Race Champion! 🏆
This award represents so much more than wins and points. It represents the dedication, hard work, consistency, and commitment Coach Barrett and these girls have shown throughout the season.

From their days as a 12u team to stepping up to 14u, they have continued to compete, grow, and represent the Southside Prospects organization with pride.

We couldn't be more proud of this group and everything they have accomplished!

Congratulations to the following Southside Prospects Softball players:

These girls competed on the 14u-Schatz team during the 2025–2026 season, and each of them had an outstanding year!

We are incredibly proud to announce that these four talented athletes where selected to represent Southside Prospects Softball in the Mo-Kansas All-State Games! 🥎⭐

Each of these girls showed tremendous athleticism, dedication, and growth on the field this season. Even more importantly, they are all amazing kids who represent Southside Prospects with great character both on and off the field.
We couldn't be more proud of you girls! Go out there, represent yourselves, your families, and Southside Prospects with pride!

What's your favorite thing about this experience?
I'll go first.

To not only have a women's professional softball team, but to have one playing right here in our own backyard, is something many of us never thought we'd see. We're witnessing history, not just for softball, but for women and girls of all ages who now get to see a professional future for the sport they love.

A huge thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality. This is bigger than a game. ❤️🥎
