🚨The gym is jumping on this bandwagon and fully taking advantage of a new opportunity.
As we are constantly looking for ways to support our community & members, Addison Community Development Committee has just opened a new avenue to help us move forward in that direction.

🚨ACDC has donated seed money for the brand new Addison Volunteer Fire Department Relief Fund. This fund provides financial assistance to our volunteer firefighters if they're injured while answering the call to serve. It helps supplement workers' compensation, giving these dedicated men and women an extra layer of support when they need it most.

🚨Starting in August 2026 a *613 Membership*, for active firefighters in the area, will now be available for $6.13 a month! To support our Addison VFD, the proceeds from these memberships, available by monthly subscription only, will directly fund the AVFD Relief Fund. This is a double bonus for our volunteers!
Open to ALL active firefighters in our mountain area, firefighter memberships will be subject to a special form/waiver to be signed by your VFD chief.

🚨Are you not a firefighter but still want to support Addison Volunteer Fire Department Relief Fund? You will be able to sign up for a $6.13 monthly donation subscription as well, gym membership not included.

🚨Schoolhouse Gym & Studio pledges to report donated funds on a quarterly basis. More details will become available as they are worked out and subscription links are created.

So this pic pretty much says it all. I get so angry at people spreading rumors. If we hear from one more customer that “we heard you were closed” we are going to pop! And I do mean like the very fireworks we sell. Anyway, we are still here. Piles of fireworks and open all day. Stop in and check it out.
