Last night, we remembered. 🇺🇸
25 years since September 11th, and Gregory Boxing was honored to host "America Remembers" — a night that brought our community together to honor the first responders who protect us every single day.
We were humbled to have Pete Kelly and Dominic Theilmann with us — two decorated first responders, both wounded in the line of duty, who ran toward danger so the rest of us didn't have to. Standing in that room with them was a reminder of what real courage looks like.
The opera during our national anthem gave us chills. The bagpipes during Amazing Grace before our final fight left the whole room silent — the kind of silence that says more than words ever could. Our boxers fought their hearts out, and the energy in that building all night was something I'll never forget.
But last night wasn't just about boxing. Every bit of it — the tickets, the sponsors, the support — went toward three organizations doing sacred work:
🔵 Bank the Blue
đźš’ Chicago Firefighters EMWQ Widows & Children's Fund
💙 Light the Line – Ella French Memorial
To every first responder who showed up, every sponsor who believed in this event, every fan who filled that room — thank you. You didn't just come to watch a fight. You came to honor the people who fight for us every day, and that means everything.
We'll never forget. And nights like last night are how we make sure of it.
God bless our first responders, and God bless America. 🥊🇺🇸
