The last group of K-2nd grade kiddos went to Littlefield on Thursday!
They had a fun time by the water net fishing and some caught fish, crawfish(lobsters😆), tadpoles, and lots of snails! We then got to roast some marshmallows to make s’mores, and ended the trip playing on the playground! 🐟🦞🐌☀️🏕️

📌 Important Reminder
Our Summer Packet clearly states that "Parents or guardians cannot pick up their child during field trips for liability reasons."
It has come to our attention that, during multiple swim field trips, parents have picked up members without notifying the Club or the staff supervising the field trip. This is not permitted.
If you need to pick up your child during a field trip due to a special circumstance, you must contact the Club before the field trip date to make arrangements. Parents and guardians may not arrive at a field trip and remove a child without prior approval from the Club.
This policy is in place to ensure the safety and accountability of every child in our care. When a child leaves without staff being notified, it creates a serious safety concern and disrupts our ability to accurately supervise members.
Going forward, we expect all families to follow this policy. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for all Club members.

The 2026 Summer Baseball, Softball and T-Ball Little League season has officially come to an end, and we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to everyone who helped make it such a memorable season.
This summer, 89 young athletes took to the field to learn, grow, compete, and have fun. Each practice, game, and cheer from the sidelines helped create a season full of unforgettable memories, and we couldn't be more proud of every player who participated.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to the City of Adair, Casey Service Club, and ACGC Junior High for the use of their ball fields. Your support and generosity made it possible for our players to enjoy a wonderful season.
To our incredible volunteer coaches- thank you for giving your time, sharing your knowledge, and investing in our youth. You spent countless hours planning practices, coaching games, encouraging players, and teaching lessons that extend far beyond the baseball and softball fields. Your patience, leadership, and dedication helped build confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong memories for every child.
To our umpires- thank you for your commitment, fairness, and willingness to step onto the field each game. Your role is often one of the toughest, and we truly appreciate everything you did to make this season possible.
To all of the parents, grandparents, family members, and fans who cheered from the stands, volunteered behind the scenes, helped with transportation, and supported our players every step of the way, thank you. Your encouragement and involvement created an atmosphere where our youth could thrive both on and off the field.
Thank you goes to Seth for keeping practices and game schedules organized throughout the season. Coordinating schedules for players, coaches, and families is no small task, and his hard work behind the scenes helped ensure everything ran smoothly. We appreciate the time and effort he gave to make this season a success.
Most importantly, congratulations to all our players! We hope you leave this season with new friendships, improved skills, unforgettable memories, and a love for the game that continues to grow. Whether you hit your first home run, made an incredible catch, learned a new position, or simply gained the confidence to step onto the field, every accomplishment is worth celebrating.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in making the 2026 Little League season such a success. It truly takes an entire community to provide opportunities like this for our youth, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support.
We can't wait to see everyone back on the field next year! ⚾🥎💙

We are incredibly fortunate to have so many wonderful donors who have supported the Adair Boys & Girls Club for many years. One of my favorite parts of this job is when they stop by to see the Club in action and witness the impact they are helping make possible.
Jim Deutsch and his family have been supporting the Adair Boys & Girls Club long before I became Director. Every year, I look forward to our conversations about what's happening at the Club, what our current needs are, and why this organization means so much to him and our community. At the end of every conversation, I always remind Jim to stop in the next time he's in town checking on crops and taking care of his farming business.
Yesterday, he had some time to do just that! It was so great to see his face and catch up in person. Jim was excited to see how much the Club has grown since his last visit, and I enjoyed showing him around and introducing him to some of our amazing staff.
Thank you, Jim and the entire Deutsch family, for your years of generosity, encouragement, and belief in our mission. Your support continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of the youth we serve. 💙

📢 Reminder for Parents
Please remind your children not to bring toys to club, including fidget toys, stuffed animals, and especially NeeDohs or other squishy toys.
These items can become a distraction during activities, are easily misplaced or damaged, and can cause unnecessary disruptions.
We appreciate your help in making sure everyone stays focused and has a great time at club. Thank you for your support and understanding! 💙
