Big Sky Race Week participants are rolling in!

Registration and Tech will start at 8.00 am tomorrow morning and will go until 5.00 pm.

Test and Tune for Big Sky Race Week Participants is scheduled from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

And a friendly reminder to those still traveling this way, put Billings in your GPS first and then Yellowstone Drag Strip after that. We dont want anyone to have to take any gravel back roads!

Big Sky Race Week is here! We are going to open the gates at 5.00pm Friday for everyone that wants to show up Friday night and camp out at the track.

Saturday will be Registration, Tech & Test and Tune. Registration will begin at 8.00am.Right now the test and tune is scheduled from 1.00pm to 6.00pm. This test and tune is only for Big Sky Race Week participants. You must go through Registration and Tech before making any passes.

We will be hauling VP Race Fuel from Track to Track for the entire event. The fuel must be pre-purchased at Yellowstone Drag Strip before we leave for Lost Creek. We will only be hauling Fuel that is pre-purchased on the route.

This is one of our favorite events of the year and we are excited to see everyone! Safe travels to everyone headed our way!

The Big Sky Nationals return to Yellowstone Drag Strip July 18th & 19th! Saturday we will be featuring Side-By-Side Jet Cars and the PT Cruiser Wheelstander! Sunday we will be giving away Diamond Wallys to all of our class winners!

Big Sky Race Week returns to Yellowstone Drag Strip & All of the Montana Tracks July 11th - 17th!

Day 0 will be at Yellowstone Drag Strip Saturday, July 11th. We will allow camping Friday night. We will open the gates at 5.00 pm Friday night. Registration, Tech and Test & Tune will be Saturday.

Day 1 will be at Yellowstone Drag Strip Sunday, July 12th.

Day 2 will be at Lost Creek Raceway Monday, July 13th.

Day 3 will be at Helena Tuesday, July 14th

Day 4 will be at Lewistown Raceway Wednesday, July 15th.

Day 5 will be in Malta Thursday, July 16th

Day 6, The Final Day, Will be back at Yellowstone Drag Strip Friday, July 17th

We will be hauling VP race fuel from track to track the entire week. Fuel must be purchased at Yellowstone Drag Strip prior to leaving for Lost Creek. We will only be hauling pre-purchased fuel on the trip.

We can't wait to see everyone for one of the most unique Drag Racing events of the year!

The NHRA Northwest Division 6 Double Divisional Presented by Air Controls was quite the week.

Unfortunately we weren't able to wrap up Event 2, but we will be able to finish it in Woodburn in a few weeks.

Thank you to every single person that made the trip to come see us. Despite the forecast, we still had a great turnout. Your support means the world to us!

Thank you to the entire YDS staff! This was not an easy week and everyone put in 150% every single day. I couldn't be more proud of your efforts and am proud to have you all representing YDS.

We are already looking forward to 2027!

We will try to finish Event 2 tomorrow. Hopefully mother nature will help us out. We will kick off with Sportsman, Pro & Super Pro and then resume rotation finishing off Super Comp. If weather allows, we are shooting for an 8.45 start time.

If you have a spectator band, it will be good for tomorrow as well.
