If you haven't joined MLRC's new membership program yet, there's still time to get on the ground floor and SAVE. Whether you're a tennis player, pickleball player, or want access to both, there's an MLRC membership built for you.

You now have until November 30 to join MLRC and skip the $100 enrollment fee (previously September 30).

Memberships are available now, and your membership term will be extended to reflect the actual opening date of our new facility. That means you won't lose any membership time due to a change in the facility opening schedule.

A current membership is required for all MLRC tennis programming beginning Fall 2026. Once our new facility opens, a membership will also be required for all pickleball programming, with the exception of the Greater Boston Pickleball League, which will remain open to non-members.

Now that the summer is coming to a close, the construction work continues without interruption and there has been a tremendous amount of progress.

The foundation to the clubhouse was poured last week and the frame is already going up! The pickleball steel is fully completed and tennis is right behind.

As with all projects of this magnitude, there are some things that have slowed it down. Most recently, putting up these unique tension fabric structures has a learning curve, but it is moving faster now that the construction team has completely put up one building.

To expedite the process, we are putting an additional crew on the project to play catch-up. Depending on weather and any other unforeseen hurdles, we expect the entire facility to be running sometime between November and the end of the year. We will keep you posted as we get closer and closer to a completion date, but stay tuned!

The 4th Annual Harvard PTO Pickleball Tournament Registration is OPEN.

Sunday, September 20th 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Bromfield courts (14 Mass Ave, Harvard)

Open to adults of all skill levels (open doubles), kids (10 -12) and teens (13+). Registration closes when all spots are filled.

Grab a partner and sign up today for this fun and casual, round robin into elimination style tournament.

In addition to supporting a great cause, bracket winners will take home prizes including swag from the Marcus Lewis Racquet Club and eternal bragging rights.

The Greater Boston Pickleball League is a great way to experience some friendly competition and meet players from other clubs.

Fall 2026 Dates:
Fall Session: September 21 until November 16. The matches will cost $26 and play on the following days:

Tuesdays: D1 Advanced (3.75+)
Wednesdays: D3 Low Intermediate (2.75-3.25)
Thursdays: D2 High Intermediate (3.25-3.75)
Fridays: D4 Advanced Beginner (2.25-2.75)

MLRC will be offering practices for all league players at the Longfellow Club in Wayland. The practices will cost $36 and be offered at these times:

Tuesdays: 6-7:30pm
Wednesdays: 12-1:30pm
Saturdays 1-2:30pm

We're putting up the dome and need YOU!
Fall is in the air and it's time to put up the dome at MLRC West.

We're looking for help from the MLRC community and in return.....you can earn an MLRC gift certificate!

Gift certificates can be used to purchase items in our Pro Shop or towards lessons, programs and memberships.
If a gift certificate is not for you, then we pay $25/hr.

Friday September 25th 9am - 12pm
We're looking for 5 people to help for a few hours on Friday with prep.
Friday help earns you a $100 MLRC Gift Certificate.
If a gift certificate is not for you, then we pay $25/hr.

Saturday September 26th 8am - 2pm
This is where the bulk of the work happens. 8am - 2pm is an approximation. It's possible it could go past 2pm.

Saturday help earns you a $150 MLRC Gift Certificate.
If a gift certificate is not for you, then we pay $25/hr.

Rain Date Sunday September 27th
If for any reason we run into rain delays, work will extend into Sunday.

Who can help?
Any able body person over the age of 18 is welcome to join. The work is physical, so you are guaranteed to burn your fair share of calories on that day.

Looking for competitive, fun doubles tennis matches without the pressure of a traditional league? The Challenger Series is a great way to play competitive matches, meet new players, and enjoy tennis in a friendly atmosphere.

Wednesdays, 9:00 - 10:30 AM at Briarbrook Courts in Acton
September 9 - October 21 • $175 for 7 weeks
Only one spot left! Subs are welcome.

Saturdays, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM at Nashoba Brooks in Concord
September 12 - October 17 • $25 per match
