Read's ears perked up and he started power-walking the moment he saw me. He was Read-y (ha ha) to come home! Thank you, , for taking such great care of Read last week.

Read had an impaction colic, which requires round-the-clock monitoring. We are super lucky to have a great veterinary team through Backstretch Veterinary Inc., who helped Read (and us) until we could get him to the 24/7 team at the Hospital for Large Animals (Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University). So glad you're home, my Red Pony Boy.

We are excited to announce we will be presenting (again!) at the 2026 EAL Summit™ from November 5–7 at Storm Harbor Equestrian Center in Slippery Rock, PA. This year, Abigail will be talking about how to handle coregulation skills in equine-assisted spaces, which is so often taken for granted.

The first summit was an amazing weekend full of smart people, helpful insights, and meaningful work. Can't wait to see what the second summit brings!

On Saturday, several of our students had a chance to work with Lorna Palmer (of Human Horsemanship), and it was an amazing day! Look at the sweet connection between Pocket and her kid. Thanks, Lorna, for helping us communicate and connect with our horses in kind and meaningful ways.

This summer has FLOWN by, and we're the luckiest because we had oodles of fun with so many great kids and ponies. Look at our last week of horsemanship: Talk about teamwork! (With Puzzle poking her sweet little face in too...)

Who says that kids should have all the fun? We had the most amazing adult three-day horsemanship clinic, and I'm pretty sure that all parties, two-legged and four-legged alike, agree: We want more! Thanks to our intrepid riders, who aren't afraid to saddle up and try new things.
