⚾️⚾️Our senior league boys took a tough loss to Fleet Park today 1-7. They play again tomorrow against Clinch River at 12:00 for their second pool play game @ Coeburn ⚾️⚾️

🥎🥎 our 8-9-10 girls took a tough loss to Madison County 1-8 in their opening day, and weather once again cancelled opening ceremonies. The girls will play McClean tomorrow at 12:30🥎🥎

Our 8-10 girls have made it to McClean for their state tournament. Unfortunately, the weather cancelled their opening ceremonies tonight and will be moved to tomorrow night. The girls open up with their first pool play game at 4:00 PM against Madison County. Good luck girls, go get em 🥎🥎

Our senior league boys attended opening ceremonies tonight at the VA State Senior League Tournament , which will be played in Coeburn, VA this coming weekend. These boys open up with their first pool play game tomorrow (July 10th) against d8 Fleet Park at 12:00 PM @ Coeburn. Wishing these boys the best of luck! Go Abingdon ⚾️⚾️

These major (11-12) softball girls had an incredible run in the Virginia Little League State Tournament this past weekend, held right here in their hometown. They battled through some rough heat, some weather delays and came out 2-1 in pool play. Their season ended yesterday in the first round of bracket play with a tough 4-5 loss to York County. We are so incredibly proud of these young ladies and coaches for all of their hard work- we are Atown proud 🥎🥎🥎

Also please keep one of their teammates in your prayers ,Makenna, as she is battling some health issues and had to miss the last couple of games in the tournament. Praying hard for a speedy recovery.

With an awesome 11-3 win over Louisa LL tonight, our Abingdon major girls have earned a spot in bracket play tomorrow in the Virginia Little League State Tournament. They will play in a quarterfinal game against d7 York County at 12:30 PM at the Meadows. We are really proud of these girls and all their hard work. Let’s show them we aren’t finished yet !!!!

Not the outcome we hoped for yesterday, but our Major (11-12) girls are back in action today at 4 PM against Louisa LL at the Meadows . Come out and show these girls support today as they play their last pool play game . Best of luck girls - you got this 🥎🥎🥎

These girls battled through some tough heat yesterday & came out on top in their first pool play game with a 5-3 win over Caroline County! They play again today at 12:30 at the Meadows against McClean. Keep battling girls, we are so proud of you 🥎

Our very own Abingdon Major softball girls get to play this weekend right here in Abingdon as District 1 Little League is hosting this years state tournament. They represent our District 1 Champions.
