I have a few stalls opening up for outside horses! Send them over to me so I can get them ready in time for you to start the new year off right. ❤️
My program is based on communication, confidence, and patience. Always on the horses terms without drawing things out.
I offer a variety of training from ground work, miles, c**t starting, barrels, and consigment, and much more. Fees vary but are very reasonable depending on service wanted.
Horse is ridden 5-6 days a week weather permitting, will have turn out and own stall. Owner is allowed to come out and watch me ride or see horse at any time on appointment basis. Have 15, 30, 45, or 60 day options.
Have many references available.
Please PM me for further information or text/call me at 325-201-1528. Located in Abilene Texas.
Gunnin to Fame, trained by me cruising through a pretty pattern yesterday.
Super proud of my little c**t Bacardi. Only his 20th ride after having over a month off due to the crazy Texas rain, decided to see how he would act on his first trip to town. Needless to say I am impressed and feel even more blessed to have such a well minded 2 yr old.
This grey mare is also here to get started and she did excellent on her first ride with me! Very excited for the future of this one for her owners.

Horses do a lot for us.
That being said, I hate the term “breaking” a horse. I feel like that is essentially saying we are breaking their spirits. I like to use the simple term “I’m training a c**t” or “c**t starting” because really we are getting them trained and helping them gain experience for their new job that we volunteered them to do. I try to make the process as easy as possible, always on the horses terms without drawing things out. A horse cannot learn for themselves if we are always forcing them into things or babysitting them every step of the way. I am just here to guide them in the right direction. They have to have some sort of freedom given back to them during the process in order to have a c**t thats willing to think for themself and problem solve.
So if I’m introducing something new to a c**t, or any horse for the matter... I never just throw it at them and hope for the best. Horses are curious and flight animals by nature. So if I ever have one that wants to take a minute to be curious, I let them. I want to let them see it’s nothing to be afraid of and it’s not going to eat them.
This is one of the two new c**ts I have in to start, she was super curious about the saddle. I let her do her thing and figure it out for herself that it wasn’t going to hurt her, instead of just throwing it on and letting her buck it out. I’m never in a hurry with my horses, and we still get everything done in a timely manner. I just put myself in the horses shoes, I don’t put a horse through what I wouldn’t want done to myself.

My goal with each horse is lightness, from the start! I want to keep them so light that I can ride them with one or two fingers on the reins and keeping the emphasis on my body language. I wiggle my middle fingers to reinforce my legs and my pointer finger holds the reins. This allows the horse to “problem solve” instead of being forced. Here is a good picture from a video I snapped today of Bacardis ride showing the perfect example of that.
Gunnin to Fame “Gunner”. Fourth ever entry, placing in the 2D with tough competition. Love this guy!
