The games union is the central body running all sporting activities of the university(Busitema Unive The games union is headed by the President of the union.
It unites all the faculties of Busitema University (Faculty of Engineering, Health Sciences, Management Studies, Education, Agriculture and Natural resources). The Union soughts promote the sporting atmosphere and nature the talents through sports.

Today we welcomed the new Chancellor for Busitema University Eng. Dr. Badru Kigundu. We were honoured with the visit of 2 permanent secretaries of Min. of Education and Min. of finance. The University Council chair Prof. Bazeyo, members of management and entire staff of Busitema university welcomed the Chancellor. It is a great day for Busitema university. Long live the mighty young University.

Busitema University Games Union hosts the Eastern Region Rugby Institutions Capacity building course. Over 50 participants attended who included District Sports Officers, Rugby club administrators and Coaches. University Boons Rugby club.
