🌟 Proudest Moment: Leading Olila High School to the 2025 Girls Cricket Week title and Olila Cricket Club to the UCA Women’s T20 League crown, while helping produce the highest number of players for Uganda’s Senior Women’s National Team and the U19 national teams.

Yesterday, we introduced cricket coaching sessions at Precious Children Primary School, led by Coach Joel Eyaru, as we continue our mission of teaching young boys and girls the game from an early age.

By taking cricket into our communities, we’re growing the game, creating opportunities, and inspiring the next generation.

This Saturday, Soroti City Cricket Club take on Olila Cricket Club in the Cricket Uganda Women’s League at Soroti City Oval, starting 10:00 AM.

Expect top-quality cricket, fierce competition, and some of Uganda’s finest female cricketers battling for local bragging rights. Both sides have started the season strongly, making this a must-watch encounter. (Monitor⁠)

Meet Coach Ronald Ebulu, one of the dedicated coaches helping nurture the next generation of cricketers at Soroti Cricket Academy.

A proud SCA product, alumnus of Teso College Aloet, and current captain of Soroti City Cricket Club in the Men’s National League Silver Division, Ronald continues to inspire both on and off the field.

A memorable day both on and off the field.

Chairman’s X11 wrapped up a successful day of cricket with victories over Olila HS and Teso College, but the biggest win was the opportunity to invest in the young players behind the game.

Beyond the runs scored and wickets taken, the day was about mentorship, sharing experiences, and reminding our boys that success comes through discipline, hard work, and consistency. We challenged them to dream bigger, stay committed to their education and cricket, and keep pushing towards their goals.

Cricket gives us a platform to compete, but it also gives us a chance to shape character, build confidence, and inspire the next generation. Thank you to Olila HS and Teso College for the competitive games and for helping create an environment where young cricketers can learn and grow.

The journey continues, and the future remains bright for these talented young stars. 🏏💙

Today we celebrate the growth and impact of Soroti Cricket Academy by looking back at a special milestone.

In 2017, just a year after its formation in 2016, Olila Cricket Club clinched its maiden Women’s T20 League title — a remarkable achievement that marked the beginning of an incredible journey.

Since then, Olila has grown into one of the powerhouses of women’s cricket in Uganda, consistently producing talented players and competing at the highest level.

From humble beginnings to sustained excellence, their story is a testament to what vision, hard work, and opportunity can achieve.
