Uganda Deaf Football Association - UDFA

UDFA Board met already this afternoon too discuss the National importance for Deaf athletes.

Our main focus agenda which was discussed was the preparation to take Uganda Deaf Cranes to participate in the 1st DAFCON in Ethiopia.

Yesterday, we successfully held the Club Leaders' Meeting and Official Draw.

We would like to sincerely thank all the club leaders who attended and participated in the draw.

We also extend our appreciation to our special guest Mr. Joseph Akoli who represented the Uganda Deaf Sports Federation

The meeting was chaired by UDFA Vice President Mr. Ssenyonjo Jim Maurice together with the NDFC Host Coordinator Mr. Juuko Alex.

Yesterday, the National Organizing Committee (NOC) for the National Deaf Football Championship (NDFC) 2026 held a productive meeting to review progress and strengthen preparations for the championship.

Today marked another important milestone in our preparations for the National Deaf Championship (NDC) 2026.

The Uganda Deaf Football Association (UDFA) held a high-level strategic meeting with representatives of Hon. Ssewangunde Robert, the Deaf Signs Alliance (DSA), and the Uganda Deaf Sports Federation (UDSF). The meeting focused on strengthening partnerships, coordinating efforts, and ensuring the successful planning and delivery of NDC 2026.

We are grateful to all our partners and stakeholders for their commitment, support, and shared vision of promoting deaf sports in Uganda. Together, we are building a championship that will empower deaf athletes, showcase talent, and unite our community.

The journey to NDC 2026 continues, and we look forward to sharing more exciting updates soon!

📢 NDFC 2026 Registration Officially Closed!

The registration period for the National Deaf Football Championship (NDFC) 2026 officially opened earlier this year and has now closed on 22nd June 2026 at 6:00 PM.

The championship is scheduled to take place from 26th to 29th August 2026 in Kampala, Uganda.

We sincerely thank all teams, players, and stakeholders who registered and demonstrated their commitment to promoting deaf football and inclusion through sports. Your participation is a testament to the growth and strength of deaf sports in Uganda.

As we prepare for the championship, we encourage all registered teams to stay alert for updates regarding fixtures, schedules, and other important tournament information.

Yesterday, the 2nd NATIONAL DEAF FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP (former NDC) Organizing Committee meeting was successfully held. We discussed many important matters including partnerships, fundraising strategies and other key preparations for the event

With only 2 months remaining, we are committed to working hard together to ensure a successful NDFC.
