Orom wins MVP and secures scholarship in USA ,at the sysystm elite camp held 26 August 2026 | Lugogo Indoor Stadium, Kampala

SYSTM Sports, a Los Angeles-based basketball management and development company, is conducting the SYSTM Elite Camp Uganda in partnership with the Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA).

The camp brings together selected young Ugandan basketball players for talent identification and development, with the aim of creating pathways to basketball and educational opportunities in the United States, Canada and internationally.

The Uganda initiative has been led and coordinated by Duncan Mutembani, a partner with SYSTM Sports, working alongside Dimitrios Seymour, FUBA, and coaches and academies across Uganda to identify and bring together promising young talent.

Dimitrios Seymour | Founder, SYSTM Sports

Dimitrios Seymour is the founder of SYSTM Sports, operating across North America and Africa. A certified agent for over 12 years with the NBA and NCAA, he represents professional players and coaches and has worked across the NBA, G League and international markets.

The initiative has been supported by Coaches Consio Mwirumubi of Tooro basketball academy , Henry Malinga(representing schools), Henrison Mbaziira (representing academies)and Albert Aciko (representing coaches )alongside and academies like HBAcademy , who have contributed to player identification, local coordination and preparation for the camp.

The longer-term ambition is to build sustainable pathways connecting Ugandan basketball talent with international sporting and educational opportunities, while working closely with the local coaches, academies and institutions developing the game in Uganda. coach Henrison expressed his sincere gratitude to Systm sports and the federation for the opportunity presented to the next generation and encouraged young players to always be ready for such opportunities as many are on the way .Orom joins the many Hba players that are in the USA and other parts of the world on scholarships .conga Orom!

Dimitrios Seymour is the founder of SYSTM Sports, operating across North America and Africa. A certified agent for over 12 years with the NBA and NCAA, he represents professional players and coaches and has worked across the NBA, G League and international markets.

He is also founder of the NIL NXT Foundation, a nonprofit focused on empowering elite high school basketball players through NIL education, financial literacy and wellness programming. His current focus includes scouting and developing international talent through the SYSTM Elite Camp series.

As a SYSTM Sports partner and lead for the Uganda initiative, Duncan Mutembani has coordinated the development of the camp and engagement between SYSTM Sports, FUBA and Uganda’s basketball community.
