Empowered for Impact!!!!
Yesterday, we successfully concluded our CEFE Training at Shallom Vocational Training Institute. Through the partnership between Drucilla and CEFE Macedonia, participants enhanced their entrepreneurial skills and shared their inspiring business ideas—ranging from boutiques, mobile money services,Groceries& confectionery sales to hairdressing salons and the sale of hair braids.
CEFE Macedonia Certificates were officially awarded to all participants—graciously handed over by the Shallom Institute CEO on behalf of the trainer.

This training marks a powerful step towards economic empowerment and self-sustainability for every participant.
Special thanks to Jovan Stalevski -President of CEFE Macedonia, for his invaluable support and dedication to vulnerable youths' empowerment.

Last evening,we successfully concluded our 14days CEFE Training at Hossanah Vocational Training Institute, facilitated by CEFE Macedonia in partnership with Drucilla Uganda.

It was inspiring to see the girls confidently present their business ideas, showcasing creativity, innovation& determination. With their Certificates of Participation in hand, they are now ready to compete with the rest in the upcoming CEFE Business Idea Pitching Competition before the jury members.

A big thank you to CEFE Macedonia, under the leadership of Jovan Stalevski for the unwavering support and guidance throughout this transformative journey. Your commitment to empowering young minds is shaping a generation of self-reliant entrepreneurs!

An unforgettable day when Kopervik VGS from Norway visited Drucilla Balaba Vocational Training Institute in Uganda!.

Kopervik, Norway Kopervik VGS, located in Karmøy Municipality, Rogaland County, Norway, is renowned for its diverse programs in General Studies, Media and Communication, Sports, and University Preparation.

Drucilla Balaba Vocational Training Institute, situated in Kabale Municipality, Southwestern- Uganda, on Rugarama Hill in Kijuguta Ward, is dedicated to empowering adolescent girls from poverty-stricken families. Through life-changing skills in bakery, tailoring, knitting, salon work,Basic computer , and entrepreneurship, the institute fosters gainful employment and self-reliance to the adolescent girls.

Together, these two institutions symbolized unity and collaboration by creating a cloth filled with handprints—a timeless token of friendship & shared values in education and development. A moment to cherish forever.

On 12th and 13th, our Drucilla Girls(Finalists) proudly showcased their skills as they were assessed by the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) under the Ministry of Education and Sports. These determined young women were evaluated in Level One competencies for: Hairdressing, Knitting, and Tailoring.

Their journey is a testament to the power of vocational education in transforming lives and empowering vulnerable youth with entrepreneurial skills.

Empowering the Next Generation! 💫 In collaboration with CEFE Macedonia, we just concluded a transformative 50-hour CEFE Training at Drucilla, where young girls engaged in experiential learning, gained practical skills& unlocked their potential. They are now ready to take on new challenges with confidence! A big thank you to CEFE Macedonia for partnering with us to create such a meaningful impact. Certificates of Participation are on the way for our amazing trainees.

What an honor it was to host the Mothers Union from Kigali Diocese at Drucilla Balaba Vocational Training Institute! 🌟 Our girls were overjoyed, sharing in the beauty of both Kinyarwanda and kiga dances. The Mothers Union of Kigali Diocese toured the incredible crafts by our talented girls and generously donated 200,000 Rwandan Francs, which will help us purchase a new sewing machine. We are humbled by the love and support from our sisters/Mothers in Rwanda. This connection is a beautiful beginning, and we pray it continues to blossom. 💖 .

From October 2016 to March 2017, we were blessed to have Maren volunteer with us, alongside Victoria under Act Now. These two incredible women made a lasting impact on the lives of the vulnerable adolescent girls we serve.Bravo to Stromme Norway that sent these two incredible girls..
Maren's warmth, dedication, and passion were truly inspiring, and her legacy continues to shine in our hearts.

Maren has married the man of her dreams, and we are happy for her. Seeing her radiate joy on her wedding day reminds us of the light she brought into our lives.
