Some math...
We`ve made a comparison of two most efficient loads for Bush Buster slugs (lead version).
1. 12/70, Vectan C7-1,6g - 450 m/s
2. 12/76 Longshot -2,4g - 500 m/s (velocity is also reachable with Vectan Ao - 2,3g).

Conclusions:
1. Faster load is giving higher energy/stoping power on most common shotgun hunting situation ranges inside 100m
2. 12/70 is going down subsonic at 75m, 12/76 at about 90m, which can potentially effect flight stability when using a smooth bore.
3. Energy. Both loads have enough energy to drop a game size of a wild boar up to 150 meters.
4. Bullet drop allows to shoot straight at 100m. 12/76 load can be used even up to 125-130m aiming a top of silhouette.

Ми провели порівняння двох найбільш перспективних споряджень куль Bush buster (свинцева версія):
1. 12/70, порох Vectan C7-1,6г - 450м/с
2. 12/76, порох Longshot -2,4г - 500м/с (таку швидкість можна досягти на А0-2,3г).

Висновки:
1. Швидше спорядження дає більше енергії/зупиняючої дії на найпоширеніших дистанціях використання дробовика в межах 100 метрів
2. 12/70 переходить на дозвук на 75м, 12/76 приблизно на 90, що може мати вплив на стабільність польоту, особливо при стрільбі з гладких стволів.
3. Енергія. В обох варіантів енергії достатньо щоб добути тварину розміром з середнього кабана, на дистанціях до 150 метрів.
4. Траекторія польоту дає можливість влучати на дистанції до 100метрів практично без поправок. А 12/76 десь до 125-130 метрів, прицілюючись по верху силуета

For experienced reloaders, who want to cast their own sabot slugs.

The Bush buster sabot slug (lead) mold is ready for a pre-orders. (No pre-payment needed until it's ready for shipping).
What you'll get:
1. Single cavity steel mold with two pins (hollow point and flat nose slug)
2. Flat nose slug - 29g (447gr)
Hollow point slug - 27g (416gr)
3. Multi calibre slugs:
Could be loaded in 12ga, using our sabot (in stock) or in 20ga with a shotcup.
4. Versatility. Bush Busters are designed to be used in smooth bore shotguns with any chokes, rifled chokes or fully rifled barrels.
We have load data for low recoil loads for old guns and for powerful 3" cartridges up to 500 m/s (1670fps).

So nice to see slug flight in slow motion.
Various target hit footage are awesome.
Most important points as for me:
1. Slug is flying perfectly stable from a smooth bore.
2. Sabot is opening symmetrically and separating repeatedly.
3. Ballistic gel action. Wide hollow point causing rapid fragmentation of head part. While the back part, which is still caring a lot of weight, shoving deep and straight wound chanel - a great combination for a big game hunting.
4. That high velocity load (500m/s) is carrying a lot of energy. Piercing a 5 mm steel plate for a lead expanding slug is a result!

Дуже цікаві кадри уповільненої зйомки польоту і влучання кулі в різні цілі.
Що б я виділив найважливішого:
1. Кулі летять абсолютно рівно з гладкого ствола.
2. Контейнер відкривається симетрично і стабільно відділяється від кулі.
3. Робота по балістичному гелю.
Широка експансивна порожнина дає моментальну фрагментацію головної частини кулі відразу після входу в ціль, при цьому задня частина, яка зберігає велику масу, забезпечує глибокий і прямий раневий канал - чудове поєднання. Для полювання на велику дичину.
4. Це швидкісне спорядження несе величезну енергію. Пробиття 5мм стального листа свинцевою експансивною кулею - це результат!

Друзі, малими кроками, але ми добираємось і до американських стрільців.
Дякуєм Daniel Herrera та Tyler McDavid за організацію і проведення тестового відстрілу.
На відео маємо відстріл нашої кулі Bush buster ( свинцевого варіанту) на поросі американському Longshot 35gr (2,25г)
Результати не тільки нас приємно здивували,але й дали інформацію для важливих висновків:
1. Досягнута давно бажана мета - швидкість кулі 500м/с при хорошій групі.
2. Для таких потужних споряджень краще працює гільза 12/76 з пижем амортизатором достатньої висоти і жорстким кортонним чи пластиковим пижем під контейнер (для підсилення дна).
3. Контейнер тримає нарізи і не руйнується на швидкостях близьких до 500м/с
4. Здається найбільш стріляючому народу в світі подобаються наші вироби 😁.
Продовжуємо. Більші дистанції, більше швидкості, краща точність.

On the following video we see our Bush Buster slug (lead version) loaded 35gr of Longshot.
We where surprised with such a good results and got some important info for conclusions:
1. We've finally reached our target velocity 500m/s with great shooting groups.
2. Such hot loads require 3" shells with proper high wad and hard nitrocard under the sabot (for supporting its bottom).
3. Sabot is holding the rifling good and not destroying on velocities close to 500m/s.
4. Seems that the most shooting nation in the world liked our products 😁.
Keep going. Longer distance, higher velocities, better accuracy.
