A special moment beyond the rugby field.

On our journey back to Tanzania from the international tournament in Burundi, the Tanzania National Men's and Women's Rugby Teams had the honour of paying a courtesy visit to the Tanzanian Ambassador to Burundi.

The visit provided an opportunity to introduce the national teams, share the remarkable progress of rugby in Tanzania, and highlight the growing participation and achievements of both our men's and women's programmes. We spoke about our commitment to developing the sport, creating opportunities for young athletes, and proudly representing Tanzania on the international stage.

As a symbol of our appreciation, we presented His Excellency with an official Tanzania Rugby jersey. He was delighted to learn about the growth of rugby in the country and commended the team's dedication to promoting Tanzania through sport.

We sincerely thank the Ambassador for the warm reception, his interest in our journey, and his words of encouragement. Moments like these remind us that rugby is more than a game, it is a powerful platform for building relationships, inspiring communities, and representing our nation with pride.

🇹🇿 Together, we continue to grow the game and fly the Tanzanian flag high.

For the very first time, both the Tanzania Men's and Women's National Rugby teams travelled together to represent our country in international competition.

We proudly took on Uganda, Burundi, and DR Congo, gaining valuable experience, building stronger bonds, and flying the Tanzanian flag with pride.

This tour was about more than just the results, it was about growth, resilience, and proving that Tanzanian rugby continues to move forward.

We now await the official tournament results from Burundi, but regardless of the outcome, we're proud of every player, coach, and supporter who made this journey possible.

Thank you to everyone who believed in us. This is only the beginning.

Our guest had the opportunity to tour the Africraft shop and witness the incredible work being done by transforming recycled materials into beautiful, sustainable products.

We were truly inspired by the creativity, craftsmanship, and commitment to protecting the environment.

As a token of our gratitude, we presented Africraft with gifts to thank them for partnering with us in making the rugby clinic a success. Africraft NGO Your support has helped create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Day 1 of our Rugby Clinic was a fantastic success!

While some of the ladies were away representing their teams at a basketball match, we were delighted to welcome the boys from Dar Cubs Rugby Club,Dar Cubs Rugby Football Club who stepped in and made the day even more memorable. It was an afternoon filled with learning, teamwork, and a shared love for rugby.
