On this sacred Punyatithi of Guruji B.K.S. Iyengar, I bow with profound gratitude to the master who transformed yoga from a practice of the body into a journey of awareness, discipline and grace.

As Abhijataji Iyengar beautifully reminds us:
“It appears that he is teaching me about asana, but what he is really teaching me is how not to give up, how easily I am fooled by my own mind, and how to search for meaning in everything I do.”

Perhaps this is Guruji’s greatest gift that through the discipline of asana, we learn to meet ourselves, to persevere, to observe and ultimately, to live with greater awareness.

His teachings continue to breathe through every sincere practice and every student who steps onto the mat with humility.
With deepest gratitude, reverence and love for our Guruji.

His light continues to guide us.
His legacy continues to live through us.

去年的這個時候
我在高雄參加中級師資培訓的課程
睽違一年
又和Olop老師在台北相會
排除網路上課的會面
我們倆一年不曾實體碰面
老師還是一如以往地瀟灑開朗
我則多了精神富足的感恩與海闊天空的自在
有機會和老師吃飯喝咖啡聊天談心
見到老師除了談瑜伽
天南地北東西左右什麼都可以聊
這種益師亦友的關係真是不知道是我上輩子哪裡修來的緣份和福氣🙏
