🎶🎶Oh, we had a birthday 🎂 - Happy Birthday to our youngest player (currently) J'nae! 🥳🎉

We kicked things off on Friday 10th April 2026 with an incredible session from our guest speaker - Mr Israel Duncan aka The Talking Pilot, who reminded us that success starts with the right mindset. 🧠💡

Words of affirmation - "𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙚!" - 𝙄𝙨𝙧𝙖𝙚𝙡 𝘿𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙖𝙣

On Friday night, we also drew our Fundraising Raffle and the winner - Mr Jacob was awarded a Smart watch ⌚️😀

The sad moment? Saying "See you later!" to our girl Jamyah Mohammed, as she flew back to NYC after spending her Spring break with us 🏐🤗

But the highlight? Spending Saturday (11th April 2026) afternoon at the St. Jude’s Home for Girls. There’s nothing quite like sharing the game we love with young women who are ready to take on the world. From drills to heart-to-hearts, seeing their smiles and hearing their gratitude reminded us exactly why we do what we do at TVDA.

Today, The Volleyball Development Academy joins our national volleyball fraternity and the entire country in celebrating the ultimate triumph of hope and renewal.

Easter is a sacred reminder that no matter the 'sets' we may have lost or the burdens we carry, there is always a path to a new beginning. We reflect deeply today on the spiritual strength found in forgiveness—the grace to let go of past hurts, to heal our hearts, and to reconcile with one another as one people, one nation. 🇹🇹

Just as the Resurrection brought light to the world, may it fill your hearts with the courage to embrace each new day with joy and a renewed sense of purpose. Let us walk forward in faith, united in spirit and bound by love.
