**♟️ Head Coach FM Joshua Johnson Delivers Outstanding Performance in Havana! 🇹🇹🇨🇺**

Mind Warriors Academy proudly congratulates our Head Coach, **FM Joshua Johnson**, on an excellent performance at the **LIX Capablanca In Memoriam Tournament**, held in **Havana, Cuba**, from **15–24 June 2026**.

Competing in one of the strongest open tournaments in the region, Joshua earned a score of 6 out of 9 against a field featuring numerous Grandmasters and International Masters, Joshua demonstrated resilience, consistency, and fighting spirit throughout the nine rounds.

Joshua finished **tied for 4th place** on points, ultimately placing **9th after the application of tie-breaks**.

This result is a testament to the dedication, preparation, and high standard of chess that Joshua continues to demonstrate on the international stage. His performance also reflects the values we strive to instill in every Mind Warriors Academy student—that hard work, perseverance, and continuous learning lead to success.
