🌿💦 ARIPO BLUE BASIN — MORE THAN JUST A HIKE! 🥾🇹🇹
Deep in the foothills of Trinidad’s Northern Range lies Aripo, an area rich in nature, agriculture and history.
The Aripo community has strong roots in agriculture, with cocoa estates playing an important role in its development. Today, the area is also well known for its watercress farming, with the Heights of Aripo being one of Trinidad’s major watercress-producing communities. 🌱
As we make our way through the valley, we’ll pass through the agricultural landscape, including the Water Crest Farms area, before heading deeper into the lush forest towards the beautiful Aripo Blue Basin. 🌿💧
And of course… the reward at the end? Cool water, cascading falls and a well-deserved lime! 😎💦
