It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Oscar Benjamin aka Oscar B.

On behalf of myself Abbigail Christopher and everyone at Premala New Generation Dance Academy, we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, loved ones, friends, and fans during this difficult time.

We are truly grateful to have had the opportunity to share the stage with Oscar B during the 2024 Chutney Soca Monarch Semifinals. It was an absolute pleasure working alongside him to create a memorable performance. He was humble, easy to work with, and just moments before we went on stage, he had us laughing, smiling, and feeling energized with his positive spirit. Those are memories we will always cherish.

Thank you, Oscar B, for sharing your talent, your music, and your joyful personality with us. Your legacy will continue to live on through the lives you touched and the music you gave to the world.

May God grant your family strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.

Rest in eternal peace, Oscar B. You will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. 🕊️❤️

I am incredibly proud to share this performance by our senior member Shaleena Bissoo.Taking on the challenge of choreographing this entire piece on her own, Shaleena beautifully interpreted "Yaaram", the heartfelt original Bollywood-inspired song by Raymond Ramnarine, which translates to "My Beloved Lover/My love".
As her dance tutor, it fills me with pride to watch her growth, creativity, and confidence shine through every movement. She embraced this song with grace and passion, and the result is a truly beautiful performance.
