🇹🇹 Blackman adds gold and bronze to medal haul! 🏊🏾♂️💨
Over the weekend, T&T’s swimmer Nikoli Blackman, walked away from the Bulldog Grand Slam at the Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Georgia, with a gold and a bronze medal adding to his medal stash 🥇 🥉
Blackman concluded his campaign with a gold medal swim in the ‘Men’s 50m Free’ where the University of Tennessee junior splashed to the wall with a time of 22.38 seconds. He stopped the clock well ahead of Jayson Ross and Luke Sandberg as they tied for second in 23.10s ⏱️
On Friday night, Blackman was seen copping bronze in the ‘Men’s 200m Free’ final in one minute, 50.48 seconds, hitting the wall behind Tomas Koski (1:47.12) and Connor Christopherson (1:49.65), respectively 💪🏽
After winning his ‘Men’s 100m Free’ heat and gaining the top seed for the final, Blackman opted to withdraw from the event to prioritize returning to his training base in Tennessee via a five-hour drive 🧳 ✔️
Congratulations Niko! 🗣️👏🏽
