Representatives of the World Traditional Archery Federation met in Istanbul during the 14th Conquest Cup international event.
During this productive meeting many issues were discussed and raised. The hard work continues. A representative of the World Nomad Games from Kyrgyzstan was present to answer the additional questions prior to this years event to be held at the end of August-start of September. Thank you to the WTAF for the kind invitation and Turkish hospitality. Here are a couple of important highlights:
1- Traditional Archery World Cup in Ulsan dates have been confirmed. The event will take place from October 30th - November 4th. This tournament will be held annually in Ulsan, South Korea.
2 - WTAF launched its website, the new logo, and appointed chairpersons and committee members. Please visit the website for full details: www.wtafederation.org
Note: President of the UK-TAIA (Kristina Dolgilevica) was appointed chairperson of Marketing and Media Committee. Functioning as the Public Relations Committee, this body drives global media dissemination, public relations, and revenue-generating projects.
Many updates and developments to follow this year and we look forward to continuing our efforts in making the UK traditional archery community the rightful part of this global initiative.

UK-TAIA Members' Meeting: Heading to South Korea 🏹🇬🇧
Join us for our next meeting on Wednesday, April 15th, as we begin the preparations for the 2026 Traditional Archery World Cup in South Korea this November. Our World Cup Team will shoot the English longbow as well as the traditional Korean bow at the compulsory 145m Kungdo target, native to South Korea.
