Happy birthday to me. 🎂
It's been 30 years since I was born. It's been more than 40 countries where I have performed as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher.
As a dancer, my dreams came true.
But my biggest dream has always been motherhood, sisterhood, a deeper connection with Mother Earth 🪷, and a deeper connection with my ancestors.
I became a single mom from the moment I found out I was pregnant...
I started La Luna Retreat Camp 🏕️ for healing with other women.
Doing it alone wasn't the plan... but here I am.
Twin babies under 2, tiny hands that need me for everything, and a life that looks nothing like I imagined.
Some mornings start before the sun, with little voices upset and needing me.
Diapers, breakfast, tears, laughter, messes, and moments that somehow mean everything all at once.
Some days feel like pure survival.
But most days feel like magic—when we're laughing, traveling, and dancing most of the time...
I won't pretend it's easy. I'm exhausted more often than I'm not.
As a dancer, I have to keep performing across the world. 🌎
But I can't leave my babies alone.
Plus, my twin pregnancy left me with major health problems. My abdominal muscle separation isn't healing, my re**us diastasis is getting worse whenever I do acrobatic movements, and my body is in serious pain.
So the best option for me is to travel less for work and give more online classes.
This year of my life, I have learned that asking for support is nothing to be ashamed of. So if anyone wants to support my work, my online classes are available. 🙏❤️🩹
I still carry the mental load, the emotional weight, and the financial and emotional responsibility of doing it all alone—being everything for two little humans.
The nights I cry in silence. The days I show up anyway. The strength I didn't even know I had.
But here's the truth I'm learning in real time...
I am stronger than I ever gave myself credit for.
And maybe strength doesn't look like having it all together. Maybe it looks like showing up, even when you feel like you're falling apart.
My twins won't remember perfection. They'll remember that I was there. That I loved them. That I kept going.
Doing it all alone doesn't mean it's easy... It just means I had no other choice. 🤍
I'm not just surviving... I'm building.
A better me. A better future.
For myself and for them.
So they grow up seeing what a strong woman looks like. A woman who never settles for less, who knows her worth... and never forgets it. ❤️
