The biggest fish and shark in the world, Whalesharks feed on plankton and gather in areas with abundant plankton food often making them a tourist attraction. 😍

Working with Black Turtle Conservation, participants learn how to identify individuals using photo-ID techniques and how to engage in sustainable, non-invasive encounters that follow international Code of Conduct protocols.✔️

At Black turtle Dive we was very proud to be part of the Love The Sea Project here on Koh Tao! 🌍

Supporting coral reef restoration and helping create a healthier home for the marine life we love 💕

These specially designed 3D-printed coral houses give young corals a place to settle, grow, and become part of the reef, while also creating extra habitat for marine life 🐟🐠🐡🪼

But reef restoration isn’t just about putting structures underwater, its also bringing our community together to care for the ocean and protect it for the future 🌊

Working Black Turtle Conservation and Eco Koh Tao, and the wider diving community. Local businesses, residents, and visitors all have played their part in become Marine Protectors.🪼

Join us Sunday 20th, for PADI AWARE Week, with Black Turtle Conservation, for our Dive Against Debris on World Cleanup Day!🤿

Organising Dive Against Debris surveys helps collect data about marine debris that can affect policy change in order to protect marine wildlife from the impacts of plastic pollution.♻️

Marine debris is human created rubbish or litter in the marine environment! 🌍

Marine debris can injure and kill marine life, can interfere with navigation safety for shipping vessels and poses a threat to human health.🧑‍🎓

This day includes:

An Educational Lecture on Sea Slugs - Discover the wonderful world of Sea Slugs and Nudibranchs. Learn Ecology, superpowers, local heroes, and spotting tips. 🔍

Nesting Sea Slugs - Match the Slug and substrate, then hunt and match for the slugs and match them correctly. ✔️

Flumping Gruntlets - Flanimals of the Reef. Collectively we will create and Id guide in the style of these fantastical and imaginary Sea Slugs of Koh Tao. 😍
