Clay clearly didn’t get the memo that you’re supposed to take it easy after your PADI Open Water course… 😂🤿

A massive congratulations to Clay, who kicked things off with his PADI Open Water, then rolled straight into Advanced Open Water with Instructor Nikki and the Aussie Divers Phuket team.

Apparently that still wasn’t enough diving… he’s since added Deep Diver, Nitrox and DPV to the list, and is currently getting himself tangled up, hopefully in an organised fashion, learning the PADI Sidemount speciality.

From PADI Open Water student to collecting specialties like they’re going out of fashion, all in one trip.

🤿 First taste of the underwater world, done!

A big congratulations to Gabriele, who joined Instructor Au and the Aussie Divers Phuket team last weekend for her PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience.

A few new skills, those slightly strange first breaths underwater, and then it was off to see what all the scuba fuss is about. 😄

Great work, Gabriele, hopefully this was just the first of many dives to come! 🌊🤙

🚨 PADI RESCUE DIVER: DONE. 🤿

Big congratulations to Dave on completing his PADI Rescue Diver course with PADI Instructor Au and the Aussie Divers Phuket team! 👏

Rescue is one of those courses where the diving takes a slightly different turn, less cruising around looking at fish, more problem solving, tired diver assists, rescue scenarios and figuring out what to do when things don't quite go to plan.

Dave handled it all brilliantly, with PADI DMT Adi assisting throughout the course and putting in an Oscar-worthy performance as the unconscious diver. 🎭😂

Thankfully, Adi made a miraculous recovery once the assessment was over.

Great work Dave, a cracking effort and another much more capable, confident and safety-conscious diver heading back underwater. 🤙🇦🇺

🇦🇺 From giving scuba a go… to becoming proper little divers! 🤿

Charlotte and Clovis from Australia first joined us for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience a chance to get underwater, blow a few bubbles and find out whether this whole scuba thing was for them.

Turns out, it very much was. 😄

After loving their introduction dives, they decided they wanted to keep going, upgrading to the full course and completing their PADI Junior Open Water Diver certifications with PADI Instructor Nikki and the Aussie Divers Phuket team over the weekend. 🎉

A brilliant effort from both of them and a pretty cool way to spend a weekend in Phuket.

Congratulations Charlotte & Clovis, two new PADI Junior Open Water Divers and hopefully the start of plenty more underwater adventures! 🇦🇺🤙🌊

🎉 Two weeks of IDC, two days of exam's at the PADI IE, and two brand-new PADI Instructors! 🤿🇨🇳

A massive congratulations to Dingning & Huajie from China, who have spent the last couple of weeks putting in the work with the Aussie Divers Phuket team, first completing their PADI Instructor Development Course, and then absolutely smashing their PADI Instructor Examination here in Phuket. 👏

Under the watchful eye of PADI Course Director Quincy, with PADI Instructor Bobb assisting throughout the IDC for his Staff Instructor rating, there was plenty of theory, skills, presentations, practice, more practice... and probably a few moments wondering why becoming a dive instructor seemed like such a good idea in the first place. 😂

It all paid off at the IE though. Both walked away with fantastic results and we reckon it's fair to say Dingning & Huajie were superstars. 😎🏆

Congratulations guys, PADI Instructors officially unlocked! Now the real fun begins. 🇦🇺🤙

A big congratulations to Shu, Xiao & Hongyu from China, who wrapped up their PADI Open Water Diver course with Instructor Zoe and the Aussie Divers Phuket team this week.

From those first underwater breaths to cruising around looking considerably more comfortable beneath the surface, the three of them put in a cracking effort. Judging by the underwater photo from one of their fun dives, they certainly weren’t short on enthusiasm either.. ✌️✌️✌️

Two brand new divers, two different corners of the world, one pretty good place to learn to dive. 🤿🌴

A big congratulations to Heath from Australia 🇦🇺 and Nethraa from Singapore 🇸🇬, who both recently completed their PADI Open Water Diver course with Instructor Bobb and the Aussie Divers Phuket team.

After three days of learning the ropes, getting the skills sorted and exploring Phuket underwater, both walked away as newly certified PADI divers. 👌

For Nethraa, that was mission accomplished. For Heath… apparently the fins were already wet, so why stop there? 😂

Heath rolled straight into his PADI Advanced Open Water course, adding a few more dives, a few more skills and another certification before calling it a day.

Congratulations to you both on some great diving, and cracking work from Instructor Bobb along the way. 🇦🇺🤙
