3 decades ago I was telling people to immerge themselves in an ice bath before and after training, and have hard sauna immediately after every training session.
They all called me crazy.

Now they all do it.

3 decades ago I was telling people to earn your food, to eat once a day, in the evening, after the whole day training like a mad man, fasting the whole day.
They all called me crazy.

Now they all do it.

Under lockdown I kept my jiu jitsu classes normally running, illegally, everyday, and i was posting on socials about it and about how we were being lied to.
I've been insulted, threatened, called assassin, my other business boycotted.
And again, they all called me crazy.

Now they all know that we've been scammed.

And last, in the reverse, when I was in my 20s, I was calling mad all those martial artists in their late 40s telling me of how they were getting better and better.
Yes, I called them crazies.

I'm 50 now and I'm in the best ever shape of my life, phisically and mentally, and I keep getting better and better.
They were right, I was wrong.

God bless the crazy ones, we all need them.

Another great night of Jiu Jitsu, the monday 7pm GI class, is in the books 🥋
Relentless, we keep going, Oss

Last class of the week, the friday 7pm GI, just done 🔥
Lots of work, lots of rounds, quality mat time added, Oss

In 2016 I had a complete cervical fusion, from C2 to T1.
It was a 9 hours surgery, a big one.
I was ordered by the doctors to be a week in the hospital, then, at least 3 months minimum without any physical activity.

I had other plans...

Right after I woke up from surgery, I put my clothes on, went to my car and drove home to Pattaya in excruciating pain, I refused any pain meds.

On the sixth day after surgery, I run 10 km, and that's when this pic was taken.

On the seventh day after operation I went back to hit pads and submit everyone in the old, legendary Golden Glory.

There are no excuses not to excel.

Nobody cares about your excuses, stop making them, Man up, believe in yourself, and fly high like an eagle.

You are way stronger than what society wants you to believe, trust me, I am the living proof of this, I back this up with my actions every single day 🥋

And today is no different, on the Jiu Jitsu mats in my Dojo, Mixfight Pattaya I will be, waiting you 👊
