Thank you all for coming out last night, for sharing your work and being such a warm and supportive group of audience. We nourish each other creatively through communities and gatherings such as these. Across mediums, the running thread was open-ended and in-the-moment exploration as process—all gleaned from contact improvisation as a modality for artistic thinking and making, that is, it transcends “dance.” Taking chances and going for it, it’s what improvisers do. And it’s a pleasure to witness.
