Shinny Ice Hockey in Bangkok, played at the Thailand International Arena Monday & Thursday nights

The 'Flying Farangs' ice hockey club was founded in 1994 by a group of expat hockey players who were coaching some of the Thai hockey teams. 'Farang' is the Thai word for foreigner. The team scrimmages on Mondays and Thursday nights at the Thailand International Ice Hockey. Its members also participate in the Siam Hockey League on Sunday evenings at the same venue when the league is in season. If

🚨 THE CHAMPIONS ARE MOVING EAST.

Despite lifting the Murray Cup in 2026, the Yannawa Devils are officially leaving Yannawa as part of the FFHL’s ambitious — and only moderately thought-through — National Expansion Program.

Beginning in 2026–2027, the defending champions will become the Esan Eagles, proudly supported by My SnaxxTH and securing a rookie contract with Nathan Bartling .

Captain Ralf Dittmer will also relocate to Esan, where he has been tasked with enjoying the food, embracing the culture and exporting the German hockey discipline that somehow turned the Devils from third-place regular-season finishers into Murray Cup champions. 🏆🇩🇪

The move represents another step in the FFHL’s mission to grow hockey beyond central Bangkok while creating new team identities that represent more of Thailand.
