Too many successful leaders are struggling right now.
From the outside they look confident.
But behind the scenes they're overthinking decisions, second-guessing themselves, and carrying pressure that nobody sees.
The good news is I'll be speaking at Camilla Calberg's Confidence Shift on August 1st.
During this event, we'll explore how the invisible patterns we carry influence the way we lead, communicate, navigate change, and relate to others. Because lasting confidence isn't something we perform—it's something we build through self-awareness.
If you're curious about the patterns that may be holding you back and want to discover a different way of leading from the inside out, send me a DM, and I'll send you the registration details.
I'd love to see you there.
Keep connecting with each other!
Big hugs, Claudia Gomes

Most people think conflict starts with difficult people.
I don't.
I believe conflict starts much earlier.
It starts with the invisible patterns we carry.
The beliefs we never questioned.
The boundaries we never learned to set.
The fear of disappointing others.
The need to be liked.
The habit of saying "yes" when every part of us wants to say "no."
After years of working with leaders and professionals from different cultures, I've noticed something:
Most conflicts aren't communication problems.
They're self-awareness problems.
Because when we don't understand what's happening inside us, we react instead of respond.
We defend instead of listen.
We avoid instead of speaking honestly.
We please instead of lead authentically.
The conversation is only the symptom.
The pattern is the real issue.
That's why lasting transformation doesn't begin with learning better communication techniques.
It begins with understanding ourselves.
The quality of every relationship we have, at work, at home, and with ourselves, is shaped by the patterns we bring into it.
And the good news?
Patterns aren't permanent.
Once we become aware of them, we can choose differently.
What pattern have you noticed in yourself that keeps showing up in your relationships?
If you'd like to explore this further, join me this Saturday at Camilla Calberg's Conscious Confidence Shift. We'll uncover how invisible patterns shape the way we lead, communicate, and relate to others, and why lasting transformation begins with self-awareness.
It's today :)
Many experienced women leaders are achieving results, but still feel they need to work harder, prove themselves, or wait for permission to be fully seen.
But greater influence doesn’t come only from doing more. It begins with how you see yourself and the identity you bring into every room.
Today, I’ll be joined by Camilla Calberg to explore how you can build calm authority, communicate your value, and create greater impact without working harder.

Honored to attend the inauguration of “Peru’s Natural Reserves: Biodiversity and Landscapes” at Siam Discovery (5th Floor).
Representing the Brazil-Thai Chamber of Commerce together with Charinthip Thechapermphon from Sul and Beyond, it was a beautiful evening celebrating culture, biodiversity, sustainability, and international connection here in Thailand.
The event was honored by the presence of Her Excellency Ms. Cecilia Zunilda Galarreta Bazán, Ambassador of Peru to Thailand, and offered a stunning visual journey through Peru’s Coast, Highlands, and Jungle regions.
Living and working in multicultural environments continues to remind me how much we can learn through cultural exchange, dialogue, and exposure to different perspectives and realities. These moments create bridges between people, countries, and communities.
Thank you to the Embassy of Peru for the warm invitation and hospitality.

Leadership is not only about leading others.
It’s about learning to lead yourself first.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned through 30 years of work and life experience is this: You can only guide others as deeply as you are willing to guide yourself.
The depth of our conversations often reflects the depth of our own self-awareness. We can only hold the emotions of others when we are capable of understanding and managing our own.
True leadership begins with knowing who you are.
When we understand our beliefs, fears, values, needs, responsibilities, and emotions, we gain clarity, not only about ourselves but about what is truly happening between us and others.
For example:
A colleague is upset and blaming you for something that just happened. Without emotional awareness, this can quickly become defensiveness, conflict, or attack.
But with self-awareness, you create space.
Space to pause. Space to reflect. Space to understand.
From that place, you can respond instead of react.
Maybe the issue is truly yours to address.
Maybe it isn’t.
Either way, clarity creates better solutions than unconscious reactions ever will.
Our internal state shapes how we lead, relate, and live every single day.
Much of what drives us remains unconscious until we choose to bring it into awareness.
And awareness is where transformation begins.
Keep connecting with others!

Leaders don’t struggle with strategy; they struggle with what they don’t say.
Being a leader means dealing with pressure daily.
It means having answers (even when they don’t).
It means carrying the emotional weight of decisions.
Navigating the complexity of leading people across cultures.
And facing the loneliness that comes with responsibility.
And still, they keep performing. From the outside, everything looks fine.
However, what is not processed will accumulate.
What accumulates will eventually show up.
In their communication.
In the way they relate to others.
In their decision-making.
Leadership is not just about doing, it is about the leader.
What they are carrying, and how they relate to it.
Keep connecting with others!
Big hugs, Claudia Gomes

I worked from 17–19 February as a simultaneous interpreter (Portuguese/English) at the Global Symposium on Gender-Responsive Social Protection in Bangkok, organized by UNICEF in partnership with Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
Over these three days, leaders, policymakers, and experts from many countries came together to explore how social protection systems can become more gender-responsive and inclusive.
It was a privilege to support these conversations, helping ideas and perspectives move across languages.
A special thank you to UNICEF Angola, whom I had the privilege to interpret for, and to all the organizers for the trust and collaboration. And as always, a pleasure to share the booth with the incredible Wan.
Grateful to contribute to conversations that aim to create more equitable systems across the world. 🌍
