Yoga for adults, children and families.

I’m in my perimenopausal years, and over the past few months I’ve started adding strength training to my regular yoga practice and swimming.

And here is why…

For years, yoga and swimming have been a huge part of my life. I’ve always moved my body, but as I entered this new stage, I started noticing that what had worked for me before wasn’t necessarily enough anymore.
I wanted to support my body differently, to build and maintain muscle, support my bones, improve my strength and metabolism, and feel strong and capable as I get older.
It’s not about exercising more or changing the way my body looks.
It’s about changing the way I take care of it!

Yoga still gives me mobility, awareness and connection. Swimming gives me endurance and that feeling of freedom and lightness in the water. And strength training is teaching me to appreciate something I perhaps overlooked for years: being strong.

Perimenopause is a transition, and I’m learning to listen to what my body needs now rather than expecting it to respond the way it did 10 or 20 years ago!

So, this is my new combination:
💫Yoga for mobility & body awareness
💫Swimming for cardiovascular health & joy
💫Strength training for strength, muscle & bone health

Not because I’m fighting ageing.
Because I want to age strong 💪

Slowly exiting the European summer with a heart full of gratitude for everything that has happened. 🤍

I love how, every year, I get to meet new people, experience unexpected turns, and become a little stronger in the belief that I chose the right path for myself.

I’m not as present on this account anymore, and I don’t regret that. I became a yoga practitioner over 23 years ago, and sometimes I miss the time when there was no social media to share your journey. Back then, the journey simply belonged to you.

I’m aware of the expectations of the modern world and the impact they have on my business. But I also believe that those who truly want to practice with me will always find their way.

And perhaps that’s enough. 🌿

I come to this place once a year, and I call it my safe space.
My body softens, my heart fills up with joy, my mind relaxes and my soul stretches out to feel more 🤍

Perimenopause can look different for each of us. The symptoms we experience, the intensity, and the ways we learn to navigate this phase are deeply personal.

For me, movement has become one of the most important tools in finding balance and supporting my body. I’ve completely changed my exercise routine, adding more strength training and focusing on building muscle, something that becomes increasingly important during this stage of life.

At the same time, I’m not letting go of yoga. It continues to be my space for connection, mobility, breath, and awareness.

Here are a few yoga poses that have become part of my daily routine, simple practices that help me feel stronger, more grounded, and more connected to my body.

LESS is MORE

Lately, I post less content.
Maybe I’m less visible on social media, but I feel more visible to myself.
It feels good to practise yoga without thinking, “I should capture this moment.”
Some moments are not meant to be shared. Some moments are meant to be simply enjoyed.
I choose this moment to belong to me.
The people who practise with me regularly understand this deeply.
They are not chasing external validation or asking the world to witness every achievement.
Some of the most meaningful growth is invisible to others.

Quiet discipline.
Private healing.
Inner peace.

Not everything sacred needs an audience.
