DQs first trip to the Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar with an unschedule extra Koh Bon!

Departing Kawthaung and heading north towards 3 islets and dives at South and North Twin islands.

From there it was north west to Black Rock for 4 dives.

The next day saw a return south with North Twin, Shark Cave and a night dive at Oasis.

After that it was Rainbow Rock, 2 at Candy Canyon and a dusk dive at Frog Rock.

The final planned full day had dives at Fan Forest and Western Rocky.

The last Myanmar day started early with a dive at Shark Lagoon then back to Kawthaung and Immigration.

Normally this would be the end of the trip but a decision was made to finish with 2 dives at Koh Bon in the Similan Islands before returning to Thap Lamu.

7 days, 23 dives complete.

Unusual marine life highlights were an Eastern Shovelnose Ray by one group at North Twin, Dolphins sighted from the boat, Pikachu Nudibranchs and a lot of small macro life.

DQs second Myanmar trip of the season.
A good trip with variety of dives with the usual large amount of macro life but also Manta Rays for multiple dives at Black Rock and even a passing Whale Shark at 3 islets for the check dive!
