From the coasts of Austrailia to Andamans, Egypt to Thailand, and Bali to Philippines.

So glad that I went on that solo trekking adventure in 2015.

My parents have had high BP since 2015, and they still do.

Alas, my soul chose them, and they chose me.

âœĻïļ Here's to living life to the fullest.

In case you are new here, hi, love. I am Smruti Mirani.

5 years ago, I was so burned out, I curled up in bed between meetings while leading a team of 3.

So, I fixed it all.

Now, I support other women, especially on a break or sabbatical to rebuild their mental fitness.

I am not a therapist, but I learned to control my monkey mind deep underwater, and I can teach you how you can master your monkey mind, too.

Comment MONKEY for 1-1 Mentoring. Cohort begins August 1st, 2026.

2 years ago today, May 5th, 2024.

After 14 months of obsessing, I reached the goal I'd been chasing, 40m dive into the ocean.

And then I fell sick like never before for 5 days straight.

When I went back to dive on May 10th, I could barely get to 15 metres. My nervous system was completely fried.

Here's what I refused to see:

Diving had stopped being about the love for the ocean.

It had become about feeding my worth. My ego. To get validation and claps from others.

I hear this from the women I work with every week.
"If I'm not the best, it would bother me."

Being good isn't good enough.

Reach the goal. Break the body. Still not enough.

All of 2025, I spent doing one thing:

Separating my worth from what I do.

Because my worth cannot go up and down like the waves of the ocean.

I learned to really enjoy the journey, not just survive it to get to the outcome.

Now when I take on a challenge, I'm not afraid.
I'm playful. Curious.

Being great is still great.
I still love a good challenge.

But not at the cost of my health.
Not at the cost of myself.

If your body is breaking down, love, it's not failing you.

It's asking you to finally stop chasing, stop proving. And start playing by your own rules.

There are two voices whispering to us constantly.

The devil, and the dreamer. Which one will win?

The one we listen to.

Speaking on the Red Dot, the TEDx stage about my transformational freediving journey was surreal. So much love to the team at

DM TED to get the link of the TEDx talk , which is now live.

TEDxSIU was straight out of the vision board.

Ended my TEDx talk with "This is a dream. You have been a dream. Thank you!"

Kudos team on hosting and executing an excellent TEDx event.

Well, being good is good enough.

Released my need to prove myself and find my worth through achievment in Egypt.

Reconnected with the ocean, and myself, and how.

In May, I failed big time - we tried to host an all India freediving competition in the Deep Dive Dubai pool. 1 diver apart from us registered. When he couldn't join due to a last minute injury, I had some down time.

A part of me wasn't ready for a freediving competition, as I was approaching it for the wrong reasons.

Had some time to work on myself and my website, too.

May 2025 was all about learning, friends, letting go and recaliberating.

April was training time in Bali, with some of the best instructors at

I also made a mistake in planning and cancelling an expedition to Lakshadweep end of April. It was too close to Bali dates, and I needed more time to train in Bali. 🙏

In a nutshell, Bali = train 2x a day, dive, gym, massages, amazing food and even better company. ðŸĨ°
