MP MAMBA BOOSTS HLATIKULU ZONAL LEAGUE TEAMS WITH CASH PRIZES AND SOCCER KITS

HLATIKULU — The Hlatikulu Zonal League prize presentations ceremony was filled with excitement and celebration as Mtsambama Member of Parliament, Mrs Sibongile Mamba, fulfilled her promise by awarding cash prizes and soccer kits to local teams.
Mrs Mamba handed over a total of E40,000 to 11 participating teams, with a substantial share awarded to Sibetsamoya Happy Stars, who were crowned champions of the league.

Addressing the gathering, the MP highlighted her passion for the sport, saying soccer holds a special place in her heart. She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting community development through football. In addition to the monetary support, Mrs Mamba donated five soccer kits. Three soccer kits were presented to Hlatikulu Rebels, Nkwali Celtics, and champions Sibetsamoya Happy Stars, while the remaining two were given to social teams Hlatikulu Legends and Hlatikulu Social.

The Shiselweni Football Association, through its Deputy Chairperson Mr Johannes Magubane, applauded the MP for honouring her commitment and meeting the prize presentation deadlines. He encouraged her to continue supporting the Hlatikulu Zonal League, emphasizing its importance in community development and the identification of local talent.

The kind gesture has provided a significant boost to football in the Hlatikulu area, strengthening unity and motivating young players to pursue the sport.
