Mbabane Highlanders AM Football Club wishes to officially announce the departure of Head Coach Selaotse “Sly” Mosala following the conclusion of his contract with the club.

Coach Mosala rejoined the Black Bull in February for his second spell at the club during a challenging period in the season. His leadership, professionalism, and experience played a significant role in stabilising the team and guiding us to a commendable fifth-place finish after a difficult run of results. His contribution during this period will always be appreciated, and the club extends its sincere gratitude for his commitment and service.

Following the expiry of his contract at the end of the 2025/26 season, both the club and Coach Mosala engaged in discussions regarding a new agreement. Despite the best intentions on both sides, an agreement could not be reached, and it has therefore been mutually decided to part ways in an amicable and respectful manner.

Everyone at Mbabane Highlanders AM thanks Coach Mosala for his dedication and wishes him every success in the next chapter of his coaching career.

As we now turn our attention to the new season, the club remains fully committed to its ambition of competing for major honours and restoring Mbabane Highlanders AM to the summit of Eswatini football. To our loyal supporters, whose passion and belief continue to inspire this great institution, we thank you for standing with us through every challenge and every triumph. Your support remains the foundation upon which we continue to build.

The club will announce its new Head Coach on Monday as the journey to RECLAIM THE THRONE officially begins.

MBABANE HIGHLANDERS AM CLUB STATEMENT

Good day, Magebhula.

The club has become aware of rumours currently circulating regarding the future of several players, specifically Siyabonga Mkhonto, Sphiwe Cele, and Msimisi Zwane.

Mbabane Highlanders AM Management can confirm that the club has received expressions of interest and formal enquiries for all three players. Siyabonga Mkhonto attracted interest from Nsingizini Hotspurs, Sphiwe Cele received enquiries from two clubs in South Africa, while Msimisi Zwane has generated interest from clubs in Zimbabwe.

In line with our commitment to transparency and professionalism, the club engaged the respective players and shared these opportunities with them, allowing each player the freedom to assess the prospects against their personal and professional ambitions.

Following these discussions, all three players have communicated their desire to remain at Mbabane Highlanders AM and continue contributing to the club’s ongoing project. As such, we wish to reassure our supporters, partners, and stakeholders that none of the players have been transferred and all three remain an important part of our plans for the upcoming season.

The club remains actively engaged in strengthening the squad ahead of the new campaign and will communicate any confirmed player movements through its official channels.

Mbabane Highlanders AM are delighted to announce the signing of Bongiswa Dlamini from Mbabane Swallows FC.

A player of proven quality and experience, Dlamini arrives at The Black Bull having recently featured in the Sihlangu Semnikati setup, earning national team recognition as recently as June 2025.

His arrival marks another significant addition to the squad and places him among a select group of players who have represented all three of Eswatini’s traditional football giants during their careers.

As we continue to strengthen for the challenges ahead, we are proud to welcome Bongiswa Dlamini to the Black Bull family.

Mbabane Highlanders AM can confirm the departure of Innocent Adja, Ishmael Zwane, Sphamandla Maseko, Bongumusa Fakudze, and Sisekelo Maseko following the conclusion of their respective contracts and loan agreements.

The club has also sanctioned a loan move for Siwakhile Shongwe as part of his continued development, providing him with an opportunity for increased game time and growth.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the players for their commitment, professionalism, and contribution to the club. Your service to the black and white jersey will always be appreciated.
