السيدة أكيكو نوناكا، نائبة رئيس البعثة في سفارة اليابان، زارت حي البياضة في #حمص برفقة وفد من السفارة اليابانية وفريق عمل برنامج موئل الأمم المتحدة في سوريا للاطلاع على سير العمل في مشروع "مشـروع تحسين الظروف المعيشية للقاطنين في مناطق المخالفات في حلب وحمص". يتم تنفيذ المشروع بدعم سخي من حكومة اليابان، وتنفذه منظمة الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية في سوريا (الموئل).

كما زارت السيدة نوناكا ووفد السفارة، مواقع المشروع الممول من اليابان "مشروع إعادة الإعمار الحضـري المتكامل وتعزيز الإدارة المستدامة للنفايات الصلبة.

خلال الزيارة التقت السيدة نوناكا ووفد السفارة بالسيد محافظ حمص، السيد مرهف النعسان، والسيد رئيس مجلس مدينة حمص، السيد بشار السباعي. تركز النقاش في الاجتماع حول أثر المشروع على المجتمعات المحلية، وفرص تعزيز التعاون المستقبلي.

Ms. Akiko Nonaka, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Japan in Syria, accompanied by a delegation from the Embassy and UN-Habitat Syria, visited Al Bayada neighborhood in to review the progress of the project “The Project for the Improvement of the Living Conditions in the Informal Settlements in Aleppo and Homs”. The project is generously supported by the Government of Japan and implemented by UN-Habitat Syria.

Ms. Nonaka and the delegation also visited the sites of the Japan funded project The project for Integrated Urban Regeneration and Sustainable Waste Management in Homs City.

During the visit, Ms. NONAKA and the Embassy delegation met with the Governor of Homs, Mr. Mourhaf Al Naasan, and the Mayor of Homs, Mr. Bashar Al-Sibai. Discussions focused on the project’s impact on local communities, as well as opportunities to strengthen future collaboration.

يعمل برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية في سوريا (موئل الأمم المتحدة)، بدعم من 🇩🇪 الوزارة الاتحادية الألمانية للتعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية (BMZ) عبر بنك التنمية الألماني (KfW)، على تحويل الحديقة الرئيسية التي كانت مهملة ومدمرة في حي الخالدية بمدينة حمص إلى مساحة أكثر أماناً وخضرة وترحيباً بالجميع.

تشمل أعمال التأهيل:
🛣️إعادة تأهيل الممرات والأرصفة والحدائق
⛓️تركيب إنارة شوارع تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية
🎡تجهيزات ألعاب جديدة للأطفال، ومقاعد، وحاويات قمامة
🏛️إنشاء أسوار وجسور للمشاة لتحسين السلامة حول قناة الري

صممت الحديقة من خلال عملية تشاركية شاملة تعكس الاحتياجات المحلية وتخدم جميع شرائح المجتمع.

وتهدف عملية إعادة تأهيل الحديقة إلى استفادة نحو 25,000 من السكان وعدد متزايد من العائدين، من خلال توفير مساحة آمنة ونابضة بالحياة للترفيه واللعب وتعزيز التواصل بين سكان المنطقة.

UN Habitat Syria, supported by Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) 🇩🇪 through KfW Development Bank, is transforming the damaged and neglected main park in Al Khaldia, Homs, into a safer, greener, and more welcoming space for everyone.

The rehabilitation works include:
🛣️Restored walkways, curbs, and gardens
⛓️Solar-powered streetlights
🎡New playground equipment, benches & rubbish bins
🏛️ Fencing and bridges for safer access around the irrigation canal

Designed through an inclusive, participatory process, the park reflects local needs and serves all segments of the community.

The rehabilitation of the park aims to benefit 25,000 residents and an increasing number of returnees by providing a safe and vibrant space for leisure, playing, and socializing with neighbours.

استقبل برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية في سوريا (موئل الأمم المتحدة) وفداً من أمانة الدولة السويسرية للهجرة في مدينة #حلب للاطلاع على التقدم الذي تم إحرازه في الأنشطة الممولة من الجانب السويسري.

وسلطت الزيارة الضوء على الجهود المستمرة لتمكين العودة الآمنة والكريمة والشاملة للمجتمعات النازحة من خلال نهج التعافي القائم على المناطق وتعزيز القدرات المؤسسية.

زار الوفد:
🗂️مديرية الشؤون العقارية، حيث يدعم برنامج موئل الأمم المتحدة أرشفة السجلات العقارية لتعزيز حقوق السكن والأراضي والممتلكات وضمان الحيازة الآمنة.
🏛️مديرية خدمات هنانو، حيث يساهم مشروع إسكان متكامل في تحسين الظروف المعيشية والخدمات المحلية.
🏘️الأحياء العشوائية الشرقية، حيث ينفذ برنامج الموئل تقييمات للأضرار لدعم التخطيط للتعافي وإعادة الإعمار المستدامة.

UN-Habitat Syria welcomed a delegation from the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) Secrétariat d'État aux migrations SEM to to review the progress of Swiss-funded activities.

The visit highlighted ongoing efforts to support the inclusive, safe, and dignified return of displaced communities through area-based recovery and strengthening institutional capacity.

The delegation visited:
🗂️ The Cadastral Affairs Directorate, where UN-Habitat is supporting the archiving of cadastral records to strengthen HLP rights and secure tenure.
🏛️ Hanano Service Directorate, where an integrated housing project is helping improve living conditions and local services.
🏘️ Eastern informal neighbourhoods, where UN-Habitat is conducting damage assessments to support recovery planning and sustainable reconstruction.

💡المختبر الحضري الإقليمي: أدوات حضرية مبتكرة من مصر وسوريا لتمويل التنمية الحضرية المستدامة على مستوى المدينة

في جمع المختبر الحضري الإقليمي ممارسين وقادة حضريين لتبادل أدوات عملية ومجربة تدعم التنمية الحضرية المستدامة على مستوى المدن.
واستناداً إلى تجارب من #مصر و #سوريا، ركزت الجلسة على حلول واقعية للتحديات المتعلقة بتمويل التنمية الحضرية، والتعافي وإعادة الإعمار في
سياق ما بعد الأزمات.

قدمت سوريا أداة تقييم الأضرار الحضرية والتعافي التشاركي، التي تدعم تخطيط التعافي، ومسارات العودة، والبرامج الحضرية القائمة على المناطق في السياقات المعقدة.

🇪🇬
عرضت مصر دليل التصنيف الحضري على مستوى المدينة ونهج التمويل المتقاطع، موضحةً كيف يمكن للتطوير الحضري المتكامل أن يدعم تنمية شاملة وقابلة للتوسع بدلًا من التدخلات المنفصلة.

وأكدت الجلسة أهمية التعاون بين بلدان الجنوب من خلال تبادل الخبرات، والتعلم المشترك، والأدوات الحضرية القابلة للتكيف مع مختلف السياقات. كما أظهرت الجلسة أن التنمية الحضرية المستدامة لا تعتمد فقط على الأفكار، بل على الأدوات العملية القادرة على تحقيق نتائج ملموسة 🏠🌍
