أطلق (موئل الأمم المتحدة)، بالشراكة مع حكومتي اليابان وسوريا، مشروعاً بقيمة 1.521 مليار ين ياباني بعنوان "مشروع إعادة الإعمار الحضري المتكامل وتعزيز الإدارة المستدامة للنفايات الصلبة". تهدف هذه المبادرة إلى دعم إعادة إحياء المناطق الحضرية وتحسين خدمات إدارة النفايات الصلبة في مدينة #حمص.

سيساهم المشروع في تنشيط ساحة الساعة القديمة التاريخية والأسواق التجارية المحيطة بها، وتعزيز القدرات البلدية، وتحسين خدمات إدارة النفايات على مستوى المدينة. إضافةً إلى ذلك، سيدعم المشروع إعادة تأهيل مكب النفايات الرئيسي في حمص من خلال تطبيق حلول متطورة ومبتكرة لإدارة النفايات، مما يُسهم في خلق بيئة حضرية أنظف وأكثر استدامة.

UN-Habitat Syria, in partnership with the Japan - The Government of Japan and the Government of Syria, has launched a JPY 1.521 billion project titled "The Project for Integrated Urban Reconstruction and Strengthening Sustainable Solid Waste Management." The initiative aims to support urban recovery and improve solid waste management services in the city of Homs.

The project will contribute to the revitalization of the historic Old Clock Square and its surrounding commercial markets, strengthen municipal capacities, and enhance citywide waste management services. In addition, it will support the rehabilitation of Homs' main landfill through the application of advanced and innovative waste management solutions, promoting a cleaner, more sustainable urban environment.

إعادة إعمار سوريا: تدعم ألمانيا، بالتعاون مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية (الموئل)، تنفيذ مشاريع في مدينة حمص بهدف تأهيل الطرق التجارية الحيوية في حي عمر بن الخطاب وحي عثمان بن عفان، بالإضافة إلى إعادة تأهيل مساحة مفتوحة مركزية على امتداد قناة ري في حي الخالدية. ويأتي ذلك ضمن نهج متكامل قائم على المناطق للتعافي الحضري.

يدعم برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية في سوريا (الموئل) وألمانيا من خلال هذا المشروع عودة أكثر من 50,000 من السكان النازحين إلى منازلهم، من خلال توفير بيئة تساعد المجتمعات المحلية على إعادة بناء حياتها، وتساعد على تعزيز إنعاش الاقتصاد المحلي، وتعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي.



Rebuilding Syria: Germany together with UN-Habitat is supporting projects in Homs to rehabilitate vital commercial roads in Omar Ibn Al-Khattab and Othman Bin Affan neighborhoods, and the restoration of a central public space along an irrigation canal in Al Khaldia neighborhood. This is part of an area-based urban recovery approach.

Through this project, UN-Habitat Syria and Germany are supporting more than 50,000 displaced residents to return to their homes, creating an enabling environment for communities to rebuild their lives, revitalizing the local economy, and strengthening social cohesion.

السيدة أكيكو نوناكا، نائبة رئيس البعثة في سفارة اليابان، زارت حي البياضة في #حمص برفقة وفد من السفارة اليابانية وفريق عمل برنامج موئل الأمم المتحدة في سوريا للاطلاع على سير العمل في مشروع "مشـروع تحسين الظروف المعيشية للقاطنين في مناطق المخالفات في حلب وحمص". يتم تنفيذ المشروع بدعم سخي من حكومة اليابان، وتنفذه منظمة الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية في سوريا (الموئل).

كما زارت السيدة نوناكا ووفد السفارة، مواقع المشروع الممول من اليابان "مشروع إعادة الإعمار الحضـري المتكامل وتعزيز الإدارة المستدامة للنفايات الصلبة.

خلال الزيارة التقت السيدة نوناكا ووفد السفارة بالسيد محافظ حمص، السيد مرهف النعسان، والسيد رئيس مجلس مدينة حمص، السيد بشار السباعي. تركز النقاش في الاجتماع حول أثر المشروع على المجتمعات المحلية، وفرص تعزيز التعاون المستقبلي.

Ms. Akiko Nonaka, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Japan in Syria, accompanied by a delegation from the Embassy and UN-Habitat Syria, visited Al Bayada neighborhood in to review the progress of the project “The Project for the Improvement of the Living Conditions in the Informal Settlements in Aleppo and Homs”. The project is generously supported by the Government of Japan and implemented by UN-Habitat Syria.

Ms. Nonaka and the delegation also visited the sites of the Japan funded project The project for Integrated Urban Regeneration and Sustainable Waste Management in Homs City.

During the visit, Ms. NONAKA and the Embassy delegation met with the Governor of Homs, Mr. Mourhaf Al Naasan, and the Mayor of Homs, Mr. Bashar Al-Sibai. Discussions focused on the project’s impact on local communities, as well as opportunities to strengthen future collaboration.
