🏆🧹 Arsenal Fans Give Back to the Community in Lui!

Arsenal supporters in Lui Payam, Mundri East County, today gathered at Lui Hospital for a general cleaning exercise as part of celebrations following Arsenal's Premier League title victory.

After waiting 22 years for the league trophy, fans chose to mark the historic achievement by serving the community and promoting a clean environment.

The initiative attracted dozens of fans who came together in a spirit of unity, joy, and community service.

Congratulations to Arsenal fans in Lui for combining football celebrations with a meaningful contribution to society!

Young Referee Richard Michael Honored in Mundri

Richard Michael, one of the youngest referees in Mundri, has been voted Best Youngest Referee of the Year by football fans, coaches, team captains and fellow referees.

Richard joined the Mundri Sub-Football Association referees' department in August 2024 at the age of 13 after serving as a ball boy. Despite facing criticism and doubts because of his age, he remained committed to officiating football matches.

His refereeing journey has seen him officiate matches in Mvolo, Maridi, Juba and most recently the game between Five Stars FC and All Lui Stars in Mundri East County.

The award was presented by Mundri West County Commissioner Hon. Zilipha Dawa and Dr. Monday Joseph, President of Al-Huriya FC Juba and Five Stars FC Mundri, in recognition of his dedication and outstanding performance in football officiating.

Mvolo County Team was beaten by 2-0 by Mundri West County on Monday in a friendly match played at Baya playground.
