John Alier, head coach of the South Sudan U-20 national team, announced on Friday, 28 August 2026, the preliminary squad for the upcoming CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers – CECAFA zone, scheduled to take place from 16 September to 10 October 2026.

The list will be subject to final review before the official squad for the qualifiers is confirmed.
