The engine behind that triumph was our very own Al Amal Sports Academy U-20 Center back, David Magar. Wearing the armband for Martyr Secondary school, David led from the front organizing the backline and setting the tempo all tournament.

He was calm under pressure, vocal in the huddle and showed up in the big moments. That’s what captains do.

This victory is a statement for Al Amal Sports Academy too. David’s leadership, work rate and football brain prove the quality we’re building here. Leading your school to glory at U-20 level is no small feat.

Huge congratulations to Martyr Memorial Secondary School for being crowned champions of the Kuluna Secondary School Tournament! The boys showed real fight, teamwork and discipline from the group stage all the way to lifting the trophy. You made the Joborona Area proud.

But the spotlight tonight is on our very own Al Amal Sports Academy U-17 star, Uling Manut. Uling was electric throughout the tournament gliding past defenders and turning up when it mattered most.

His vision, composure on the ball and match-winning moments earned him the Best Player of the Kuluna Secondary School Tournament award.
