Fun day together with my good friend and neighbour Iris here at Tranquil. We cought up on our activities , and later went for a nice long walk by the beach and back through the beautiful countryside . Tia really enjoyed the extra attention 🐶.

A little update from Tranquil Nature Retreat ..

It's been a beautiful time so far with lots of lovely guests , my Son Nino with his girlfriend Chloe , who both absolutely loved their stay.
Then my friend Martine stayed together with her little dog Calou , and now I am expecting my daughter Phoebe to come and visit for 2 weeks .
All of them said that this place holds a very special energy, I welcome you to come and experience it for yourself.. 🌈🌿🌈
From the 26th of April onwards I have availability , until the rainy season starts in July.

What is Tranquil Nature Retreat all about?
🦎🌿🌴 I have been living here in Abene, Senegal , for almost 5 years now. Apart from the obvious reason of needing the sun during the long winter months, living a simple life and being 100% sustainable, were equally strong reasons to make the big move!
Now that I live here, I have learned to live in the present, to enjoy every day fully and to be extremely grateful for what I have.
This happens automatically, by being with the locals, watching them living their lives.
Having this kind of new awareness gives me the desire to share my state of mind with others, to inspire them to reconnect with who they truly are, to take a well needed pause in their busy lives, to give themselves the opportunity to reach deeply inside and discover what needs to happen.
My retreats are perfect for anyone who feels this need, or who just needs to get away from it all.
By simply being on the land, surrounded by nature, away from the digital world, you will have the opportunity to truly wind down, and be open to change. My coaching sessions will help you to find new goals.
Equally if you are just looking to relax in pure nature, you are very welcome !

Spent a very active day at my neighbouring village Diannah yesterday, cycling to my Swedish friend Rosie's house, visiting the beach together and having a fabulous lunch together... Saw 3 dead crabs, that must have escaped the fisher men's nets, collected lots of beautiful shells to decorate her well with, and chatted about life in Senegal.. love my life! ❤️🙏❤️

Coming back home to Abene is both wonderful and surprising...
In the 5 months that I was in England, nature has been busy reclaiming it's space. Now that the rainy season is almost over, it's time to clear paths and make the land livable again.
