ULTIMATE FIGHTING LEAGUE (UFL) COMMUNITY SENSITIZATION PROGRAM
Theme: Drop the Drug and Pick Up the Gloves
The Ultimate Fighting League (UFL) is a dynamic and community-driven organization committed to using sport as a tool for positive transformation. Recognizing the growing challenge of drug abuse among young people, UFL has taken a bold step to combat this issue by engaging youths through martial arts and other sporting activities.
UFL believes that talent can be found in every corner of our communities, especially in the ghettos and slum areas where many young people lack opportunities and guidance. Through its outreach programs, the League aims to identify, nurture, and develop these hidden talents—not only in fighting within the ring but also in building discipline, confidence, and purpose in life.
As part of its ongoing sensitization campaign, UFL has successfully reached several communities in the eastern part of Freetown, spreading awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promoting healthier lifestyle choices. The initiative encourages young people to channel their energy into sports rather than destructive habits.
The journey continues as the Ultimate Fighting League prepares to visit the Devil Hole Community on the 5th of June. This event promises to be impactful, featuring talent scouting, interactive sessions, and motivational engagements designed to inspire the youth.
Through this campaign, UFL sends a strong message to all young people: “Drop the Drug and Pick Up the Gloves.” Together, we can build a generation that is strong, focused, and free from the grip of drug abuse.
Join us as we make a difference—one community at a time.
