On Saturday 15th, may, 2021. it was an entraining encounter between two east end club as the name implies host, east end tigers and the visitors, east end lions at siaka stevens stadium.

The killer's took not less than nine minute to be awarded a penalty a foolish foul from the host central defender and it was perfectly converted by Alimamy kamara Payne we saw the visitors pushing for a second goal backed by their traditional fan's when Ishmael Dumbuya struck from close range. in the 20th minute, giving the tigers goalkeeper no chance. The visitors went on dominated the first half and it ended 2-0 in favour of lions.

Second half began with the tigers trying to create chances but, they were not clinical in front of about 25,000 spectators who watched the match as the lions defense stood firm to records two in victory in a row.

On the 70 minutes, running on to Alpha kamara pass and opening up his body to curl a shot in to the net to make it 3-0 for the east end lions by the incoming Alicen kamara

It was a colourful evening, at the siaka stevens stadium, about 15,000 football lovers witnessed this encounter which many describe as fascinating and exciting.

Sulaiman kargbo SS and Alimamy kamara buya first-half goal was enough for wusum stars to beat a Johansen side who have now lost their first SLPL match.

wusum scored from the first noteworthy chance of the game in the 7th minute, Sulaiman kargbo stroking the ball back of the net after a shaky defensive blunder from the two center back and a sublime right wing cross from morlai kamara to Alimamy kamara who scored the second, 30th minute, on the clock as coach Abdul rahman Turay Agina men were cruising at 2-0 up as they bossed the first half.

Johansen took control of the game after the break but created far too few chances until when Melvin Davis hit the post within the 73 minute,

school boy's Stunt big money spenders Bo rangers in a spicy encounter

An impressive team work of old Edwardians dealt the big money spenders, Bo rangers a severe blow in their bid to win the SLPL title at the the siaka stevens stadium, on the 7th, may, 2021.

Within the open 20 minutes the match started at a low pace, until Musa N kamara curling a sensational effort into the top corner in the first half that give rangers the lead on the 24 minutes the home team try to create few chance but of no threat and it was 1nil in favour of the visitors at the break.

The visitors, who are looking for their third league victory on the bounce, started the brighter of the two sides in the second half with several effort from outside the box but the goalkeeper could only fumble what proved to be a tame effort.

Edwardians started slowly, before gradually growing into the game.
They had their first sniff of goal in the 62th minute, by Noble Daramy who broke swiftly in the box to level the scores one a piece.

As coach konneh's men pushing hard trying to get a winning goal, the school boy's have to wait until the 82minute, for a second goal when the referee blow the whistle for a penalty and it was perfectly finish by Abdul aga kamara to earn his club first league victory of this season's SLPL.

Bo Rangers were wasteful as they pushed for an equaliser, the visitors continued to threaten from set pieces but the defense of Edwards was proven to be very formidable.

It was a loadable performance by Noble Daramy who was crown as man of the match before 13,000 spectators.

depleted port authority and anti drugs ends in a stalemate

A heavily depleted Port and Anti Drugs sides ended up in a goalless draw at the Brima Attouga Mini Stadium on Monday afternoon, close to 2,000 spectators watched this east end derby.

As either sides have now gone two games 180 minutes without scoring a goal at the ongoing SLPL.
The first 45 minutes started at a slow pace, as the two teams find it difficult to get a shot on target. There were no serious threat pose by the strikers to force both goalkeepers to make a save.

Earlier in the second half coach John Sesay Agina made two attacking changes, come in with foday Conteh and Mohamed Lampay then, we saw the water-front boys desperately, search for some attacking threat.
The first real chance come through a good move at midfield to free Djbril Koulibaly, who could only hit the post after a close shot at the center of the box.

Anti drugs also have some dangerous chance when no7 Obantan, some how placing the ball wide the cross bar after becoming the latest drugs player to find space on the box.

Few minutes later Sayio Conteh port goalkeeper stepped things up again, one on one with Mohamed I kamara inside the six yard box and he produced a wonderful power shot save to keep the tie 0-0.
Many fans and spectators describe Sayio performance as superb and explicitly, name man of the match

Fc kallon open their 2021/2022 SLPL campaign with a colossal 3--0 victory against one of the most successful club in the history of SLPL league at the Sika St evens Stadium on Friday evening at around 7:30 pm, about 15 thousands spectator's witness the encounter.

The match started with both team sited on the back and looking for opportunities to capitalise on a counter.

As the match proceeds port authority started frustrating their opponent but their scumble and combative approach saw them 2 down before half time an own goal from port authority Saio Conteh on the 37minutes and 5 minutes later a Master class dribbling by young kallon Momoh L Dumbuya (Isco) who provide the assist for Baimba Sesay to make it 2 nil before shorly going to the break on the 42 minutes.

A slick fc kallon passing move opened up the midfield and defense early on the second half as the water front boys were totally dominated until when the cavalians get their third goal by Sallu Tarawally (capay Sallu) on the 62 minutes of play.

Isac was called into action shorly before the 70 minutes mark to plam away a powerful colubalie shot that could have given them an early consolation.

Port authority committed more players foward as the match wore on coach Agina made two changes middle into the second half but, the pressure was soaked up by the defence of Fc kallon as the water front boy finished the match without scoring.

"I think kallon tonight showed they are well organise team in this year's SLPL,when their counterpart look un settle an disorganize throughout the 90 minutes of the match.

Saidu Fofana no10 (okocha) was name man of the match as he put up a sublime performance in the midfield for the cavaliers
