Due to the emergency situation in the country, on 9 March, Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic issued a Decree prohibiting organization of any sport, cultural and social events. The ban came into effect today and lasts until March 23.
Under these circumstances, we are forced to cancel the upcoming 15th European Company Winter Sports Games, that were scheduled to take place on 19-22. March 2020 ๐

In order to increase the security of European Company Games participants, we have decided to announce the results of sports disciplines immediately after their completion, at the sports facilities. We will announce the best teams and the most successful nations at the short closing ceremony in congress hall of hotel Patria on Saturday.
More than half of the disciplines will be outdoors.Others at the ice hockey stadium in Liptovskรฝ Mikulรกลก, Bowling Center in Poprad city and in Patria Hotel. The tournaments will follow a pre-set schedule to minimize the number of people staying in the competition area at the same time. Premises of hotel Patria are disinfected several times a day.
We are also considering other measures - we will keep you updated. We believe that we will meet in good condition and mood and enjoy together the first and only European Company Games in Slovakia.

โ๏ธWe do not ignore Coronavirus but also we do not panic โ๏ธWe are monitoring the situation and are ready to take action at European Company Games to increase the security of our participants. We thank them for their rational behavior and not cancelling participation.There is no reason. We are an event for active sports fans and a healthy lifestyle and sport is the best prevention against any disease.

Its snowing a lot in Strbske Pleso! Part of the program on our Games is giant slalom on Furkotka slope and special slalom on Interski. Both disciplines have 50 competitors. It will be incredible!

Ambassador of European Company Games ๐Boris Valรกbik ๐ brings his team - hockey representation of the Police Force of the Slovak Republic. In the hockey tournament they will meet with competitors from JL Arena, Accenture, Volkswagen, Orange, but also with the Czech team ล koda Mlada Boleslav and the teams from Austria and Slovenia. ๐๐ธ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฟ๐ฆ๐น๐ธ๐ฎ

430 atlhletes from 13 European countries and different companies will come to 15. European Company Winter Sport Games in Strbske Pleso in a month. Slovakia has a largest representation. Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Croatia, Germany, Norway, Slovenia, Serbia and Sweden will meet in eight disciplines. Representatives of corporate sports associations from Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Lithuania and the Netherlands will come to greet the games as guests ๐
