PEAKCARBON: international market presence and product development
PEAKCARBON d.o.o. is carrying out two co-funded operations supporting the company’s international growth and the development of innovative avalanche safety equipment.
1. Participation at Alpinmesse 2024
PEAKCARBON d.o.o. presented its products at the international trade fair Alpinmesse 2024 in Innsbruck, Austria, including the PurePeak carbon avalanche shovel and Onehundredboardz products.
The operation “Individual participation of PEAKCARBON d.o.o. at the international trade fair Alpinmesse 2024” was selected for co-financing under the Public Call for Co-financing Individual Company Participation at International Trade Fairs in the Years 2024–2028.
2. Development of a modular carbon avalanche shovel
PEAKCARBON d.o.o. is also carrying out the operation “The world’s first modular carbon avalanche shovel”.
The operation focuses on the development, validation and market preparation of a new modular avalanche shovel system made from advanced composite materials. Its objective is to develop a lightweight and adaptable avalanche safety product with multiple configurations of use.
This operation is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the European Cohesion Policy Programme 2021–2027.

The shovel was tested in real conditions and reviewed by Max Ritter, focusing on weight, construction, and usability in avalanche rescue scenarios.
