Early this morning, our guests ... or rather, friends ... Arne and Nancy from Norway departed. We spent a few wonderful days together and explored some hidden gems in the green heart of Slovenia on e-bikes. As a token of thanks, this was waiting for us at our doorstep this morning:

A souvenir from our Norwegian guests:

"Using a sitting pad is a small but recognizable part of Norwegian outdoor culture. A sitting pad is lightweight and easy to carry in a backpack, and it makes sitting outside much more comfortable. Many Norwegians often use a sitting pad when spending time outdoors, especially when hiking, skiing, sitting around a campfire, or watching outdoor activities. The main purpose is to protect against the cold, moister and hard ground."
