📅On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, project CULTIVINE will be presented at the 64th AGRA International Fair of Agriculture and Food, which is considered one of the foremost meeting points of innovative technologies and tradition in the region.💡

🍇CULTIVINE, a cross-border project implemented by the Prlekija Development Agency and the Green Heart of Zala Rural Development Association under the Interreg Slovenia-Hungary programme, focuses on integrating the rich wine and cultural heritage of the Pomurje region and Zala County into innovative and sustainable tourism experiences. The main goal of the project is to reduce seasonal fluctuations in tourism and increase the appeal of lesser-known rural areas on both sides of the border, while the initial phases of the project are also dedicated to establishing a cross-border network for wine and cultural tourism. 🌅

🟩Cycling is not only an environmentally friendly mode of transport, but also an increasingly important driver of sustainable tourism. Cycling routes help visitors discover natural and cultural heritage, support local businesses, and connect communities across borders.

🎯Recognising the tourism potential of cycling, the has supported cycling-related projects in previous programming periods and continues to do so in the 2021–2027 period. These projects contribute to the development of cross-border cycling tourism, the promotion of attractive destinations, and the creation of new opportunities for local economies.
