I didn't yell. But I should have exploded. 🤍

Four hours of driving. A full day helping my aging parent move into a home. All I wanted was dinner and my bed.

Instead — a messy kitchen, my stepdaughter mid-cooking, my son needing last-minute help for his camp. Something in me almost snapped.

I paused. Asked myself: why am I this triggered over a camp plan? Truth is — my nervous system was already empty. So I showered, retreated, and asked my husband to take over.

I should've set that boundary before I even walked in. Old pattern — still learning, even after teaching this for years.

Recognize this pattern in yourself? Type "pattern" and I'll send you the quiz. 👇

Breakfast, today. 🫐

No plan — just a dog walk. And wild raspberries, right there on the path, waiting.

We look for magic in the big moments. But most days, it's small. Quiet. Easy to walk right past.

Life is full of small, daily magic — you just have to be present enough to notice it.

What small magic did you almost walk past today? 👇

Small tweaks move mountains 🏔️
Reading Tiny Experiments this week and it's rewiring how I think about change. Not one big leap — just small, compounding shifts. Starting with how you treat yourself.

What's one tiny experiment you could run this week? 👇

It's 8pm. I know I overgive. And I did it again today. 🫠

Cooking with my kids. Helping them plan their day. Giving a friend feedback on her project. All good yeses. But the one thing I promised myself I'd do today for my work? Still not done.

And the question that actually stops me isn't "why do I overgive" — I already know why. It's this:

Will I miss them? Will I miss what's right in front of me — the people I actually care about — because I'm too busy proving I show up for everyone?

My mom missed me. I don't want to miss my kids the same way, while I'm busy being useful to everyone else.

If that question hit you too — tell me who you're scared of missing. I'll read every one. 👇

I counted 16 pairs of shoes at my front door today. 🤍

I'd planned a calm Saturday — quiet, maybe get some work done. Instead: kids, friends, neighbors, guests, one after another. By the afternoon, this is what our doorway looked like.

Parenting (and honestly, life) doesn't run on the schedule you planned. The calm, controlled version isn't the "right" one, and the busy, loud, unplanned one isn't a failure. They're just different days.

The skill isn't controlling which one you get. It's noticing which one you're in — and actually being in it.

How many "extra" people showed up at your place this weekend? 👇

Yesterday we watched the sun disappear behind the moon.

And everyone stopped. Everyone looked up. Everyone was in awe.

But the sun is there every single day — and we barely notice it.

Our kids are like that. Our partners. The people closest to us.

Always there. Always shining. And so easy to take for granted.

What if today, you looked at the people you love like you look at an eclipse?

With that same wonder. That same presence. That same quiet gratitude.

They're not going anywhere. But the moments are. ✨

💬 Who in your life deserves that kind of attention today? 👇

I always struggle to say no. Especially to my kids. 🤍

They know if I have the time, I'll say yes — even when it's almost 40°C outside and 50° in the car.

We're all so busy. Meetings feel urgent. But some days, going to pick up your teen matters more than anything on the calendar.

Love isn't about doing everything for them. But it is about choosing the minutes, when you actually have them.

So today, I chose this. 🚗☀️

Worry Less…

That thought spinning in your head at 10pm about your child's future?

Let's do something with it right now.

Write it down. Exactly as it sounds in your head.
"I'm worried my child is addicted to screens."
"I'm worried they're falling behind."
"I'm worried I'm getting it wrong."

Now step back. Look at that written worry from a distance.

And ask yourself one question:
"Is there something I can do about this right now?"

If yes — do it.
If no — let it go. It is not serving you or your child by living rent-free in your head.

Worry is not the same as care. You can love your child deeply and still choose to put the worry down.

✨ Try this tonight. Write it. Look at it. Ask the question.

💬 What's the worry you carry most about your child? You don't have to carry it alone 👇

Do you feel empty? 🤍

On the outside, everything looks fine. Work is good. You have a home. Your partner is there. But something feels off — you don't feel connected, even though nothing's really wrong.

You try harder. You look for ways to reconnect with your partner... and you're left disappointed.

Here's the thing: before you reach for them — reconnect with you first. Feet on the ground. One real breath. Ask yourself what you actually need right now. Fill your own cup — it's not your partner's job.

Then come to them from fullness, not expectation.

I'd love to know — what fills your cup? 👇

Do you hate sounding like your mom? 😅

You catch yourself saying the exact thing she used to say — the one you swore you’d never repeat. It comes out before you even notice.

Next time it happens: stop. Ask yourself — whose voice is this, mine or inherited? Then ask — what do I actually want to say right now?

And next time… actually say it. 🐄 (yes, that’s a cow trying to be in this video with me)

If you’re trying to break a cycle instead of repeating it — follow for more like this.
