This weekend, Z Fencing was excited to be part of Decathlon SportsFest, and it gave us a wonderful opportunity to see our values come to life.
As part of our student leadership development, we believe character is built through real experiences — especially when our young people learn to go beyond themselves and choose to help others.
And that is exactly what our Youth Fencers did this weekend.
👏 A big shout-out to our youth, who stepped forward to help others experience the same love and joy they have found in fencing.

While you were focused on giving every participant a positive experience, we were watching something else happen — we were watching you grow.

From fencers, to helpers, to young leaders whom others can count on. This is how we hope to connect the dots at Z — from values, to character, to leadership.
And perhaps one of the most important lessons of all: discovering that there is meaning, satisfaction and happiness in using what you know to help someone else learn and grow.
This is character showing up. And we are very proud of you. 💙

A wonderful week with Z training camp with Accademia della Scherma Livorno in Singapore. Our fencers from core, developmental and elite had a chance to experience the Italian 🇮🇹 methods of fencing around timing, tempo and feeling.

Don’t miss Z’s Discovery workshop starting this Saturday May 2nd, 9am at Z Fencing. Suitable for ages 4-12yrs of age. 3 sessions 1hr each. The workshop provides parents with an insight into key character strengths and physical development of their child in the golden window of their cognitive, character and physical development. The child discovers a fun new sport of fencing over three Saturdays while parents gain an invaluable snapshot of their child’s most crucial executive functions.
