Our Team Singapore athletes attended our anti-doping briefings to stay informed about their rights and responsibilities, testing procedures, and the importance of protecting the integrity of sport.

Once again, congratulations to our Governing Board Member, Mr Nicholas Fang, on his promotion to Colonel (NS)!

Our board member Mr Nicholas Fang attended the Clean Sport in Action International Forum. One forum panel placed a spotlight on the relationship between Anti-Doping Organisations (ADOs) and the media, noting that agencies get coverage whenever there is major positive results of tested athletes, forming the impression of ADOs as harsh regulators.

Having extensive and deep experience in communication and media, Nicholas found it apt that the forum encouraged ADOs to be more proactive in the media landscape to share anti-doping work and build trust.

One important takeaway is that while anti-doping operations will continue to be under scrutiny, they do not have to lead to scepticism especially when communications are handed strategically

Yesterday's networking brought together the dedicated members who form the backbone of Singapore's anti-doping effort! 🤝⁣

It was an honour to host Chair and Members of Anti-Doping Singapore Governing Board (ADS GB), National Anti-Doping Disciplinary Committee, National Anti-Doping Appeals Committee and Therapeutic Use Exemption Committee. We were also joined by colleagues from Sports Division, Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth.⁣

Mr Teo Ser Luck, Chair of ADS GB, welcomed everyone. He emphasised such networking aimed to facilitate exchanges and strengthen collaboration while recognising the invaluable contribution of our members who volunteer tirelessly for years in upholding clean sport. ⁣
⁣
The evening was filled with engaging and meaningful conversations as we connected across committees. Thank you to all who joined us for this special evening of connection and recognition.⁣
